can someone please put up a pic of the old badge from the 1950's ( the one with crosses and horseshoes)
I've seen about 50 different variations of it but don't know which one is right.
it's for a tattoo ( no shock there ) and I want it to be right.
    many thanks!

if you google it you'll see the 2 different versions. thats what im worried about. its part of a 3 badge tat im putting together. the other 2 being our round one from '82 onwards and our shield from the '70's ( again i've seen different versions of that too!!)

It might be worth e-mailing the club, they'd be more likely to give you the definitive answer...

As you probably know it was actually the crest of the LBH&F. Here it is in all its glory

I actually painted this as part of a primary school project back in the 60s so I can vouch for the gold colour across the middle.

I know H&F would oppose it but I still think we should campaign to get this back as the QPR crest. Magnificent!

that's brilliant aaaaggghhh, a lot of detail though and I haven't got a huge amount of space to put this in lol
I think I'll go with the yellow version.
    thanks again

It's our heritage, but I think we'd best wait till we see if they approve our new ground in the borough before we nail our colours to the mast. Interesting to see the feathery outline is part of the current badge could make an interesting composite from that.....

ive seen that tat northy, its quality! my thinking is getting the basic 50's one on the left, shield in the middle and round badge on the right with a Queens Park Rangers banner in black and red under all three. I'm hoping to see my tattooist next week for a price and what mark it'll be on the " holy **** stop for a minute! " scale!!

That's one to throw into the 'background image' thread, perhaps. Evolution.

Col - last season one of the lads over on Vital posted a link for shirts in Brazil that we're 'un-branded' - you might want to try over there. I would also like this, and would be happy to pay a small premium to get the sponsor-free version.

Also, the club shop do actually sell them - but you have to be about 6mnths old to enjoy the sponsor free hoops!

Thanks for that Richard. I'm afraid I have missed the boat for the ones for 6 month old kids by about 70 yrs.
