Don't get it. Cisse is far better.

Cisse and Zamora up front is much more appetizing than Helguson and Smith

Zamora AND Cisse? better than Hulse and Bothroyd, in my book. Or even ANY front-two partnership we could currently field.

Zamora and Cisse are similar players? But surely we won't spend a fortune on both if one just warms the bench? I actually think HH and Cisse could be a better pairing up front.

My Sauce who 'departed' when NW did told me that Warnock tabled initial enquiries for Johnson & Zamora prior to getting the bullet and they both went on hold until MH was appointed.

He also told me NW's transfer kitty was £15m incl wages but Hughes kitty was upped to £50m incl wages as part of his conditions for taking the job. I guess thats why the calibre of players we are now looking at has jumped considerably higher.

Makes sense, that is probably what all that guff about 'ambition' was really about. I think Zamora is a bit too much like Cisse though, better to have someone with a bit of pace paired up with either of them but it would be great to have strength in depth rather than just have a decent starting 11. It would be a nice option to bring on someone like Zamora or Cisse if we needed an added threat.

Cisse is absolutely rapid. He'd be feeding off Zamora's service...am I the only one seeing this?

My assumption is that it is both rather than either/or. That would mean 2 strikers, 2 defenders and 1 attacking midfielder in this window which seem about right to fill the most obvious gaps. If the 2 strikers do get completed I would say that MH has set things up very nicely for us. If he fails to get them then he will have come up seriously short of our requirements.

    Tweet by Dan Roan:

Only thing preventing Zamora to QPR is whether they'll pay him what he's demanding. Fulham won't stand in his way deal effectively agreed.

Zamora will be a panic buy, especially if hes demanding stupid money and a long contract.
I know I didnt want Cisse but get him in ahead of Zamora, Id rather have Hulse play for 6 months than sign a 31 yo Zamora for 4 years on a 50k+ deal.

I hope youre talking about Cisse instead of Zamora. We dont need both of them.

Umm cisse and Zamora are both much much much better than we have. Cisse is one of the fastest strikers around and Zamora is great at holding up the ball. I am very excited about both of these being upfront!
