QPR chairman covets Everton boss as ‘dream manager’
Tony all praise for Toffees boss

    • Chris Ramsey as head coach for the rest of the season, and it’s the incumbent’s to lose should Hoops take the Premier League plunge.
But earlier, Fernandes tweeted he had found a ‘dream manager’ - and one with all the qualities possessed by Martinez.
"Managers talking about not having this or that, or needing this and that, and I'm not directing this at (ex-Boss) Harry (Redknapp), " said Fernandes, "in other clubs there are very few exceptions.

      Man in charge: Chris Ramsey
"One of them is Roberto Martinez. And if you speak to Bill Kenwright he echoes what I say about a manager who just gets on and finds players.
"The 'dream manager' I spoke to said: 'We’ve got enough quality in the squad and we’ll find a way'."
Whatever the outcome in May, Rangers have a target list of Championship and League One players that is the club’s future.
Under director of football, Les Ferdinand, Hoops will hark back to days past and recruit from the lower leagues rather than shop for top flight has-beens in search of a last payday.

      Breathtaking save: Green parries
Fernandes added: “We have a list of Championship and League One players we’ve identified who are either free agents or we’d like to buy.
“I don’t think we’re in the hands of agents; it’s about a good scouting system. We’d rather have players who are stepping up than stepping down.
“There are exceptions. Rob Green has played in the World Cup, and he’s loving it here, and Richard Dunne has been one of our best buys.
“Southampton were a League One side; Swansea were almost bust. They’ve done the right things and put the right structure in place.
“For one reason or another, we’ve never had the balls or the patience to make the hard decisions - but come hell or high water, we’ve done it now. If we go down, we go down - but we’ll come up in a better way.”

That is Tony's best quote for quite some time. It's a pity it feels like turning the clock back 2 years or so when we had a similar opportunity.

Martinez has turned Everton from European contenders to relegation fodder in one season. Impressive.

The more I hear from TF on his twitter airways the less respect l have for him.
I have backed him to the hilt but he keeps making silly comments that come back to haunt him and us. ................. just shut it TF.

I am loving all the pressure press are putting on Sherwood, and therefore on Villa players.

Whereas QPR seem to be out of the headlines, due to the calm CR has brought to the club.

This has to be a huge positive.

The bloke who uses a Tom Tom to go the end of his road
The bloke who carrys his keys on his belt
The bloke who listens to Heart Radio
The bloke who uses comics sans in Microsoft word to make labels for his ikea boxes
The bloke who calls everyone guys
The bloke who rides a halfords bike and wears lime lycra every chance he can on his local cycle path
The bloke who puts his elbow on the table, raises his hand to make a fist before putting his chin against his fist
He cocks his head to one side. Looks upward and dreams of sea horses

With the turnaround in performances, how on earth can you start trying to find a fault with CR, who only has QPR's interests at heart ??

    Unbelieveable <doh>
