Nothing would make me happier (although do we really need two right backs ?) I can see us getting Naughton (maybe . . . just), but Walker might well stay with Villa, or fight to break into the team back at Tottenham. As has been said - just sign somebody Neil - the FA took all the joy out of promotion and this Batia business is just crying out "same old R's drama" - I could do with some good news.

Why is there a panic already to sign people. How many teams out there have signed players already? Hardly any!! Yes we need to strengthen but it'll happen when the right players are available. If the right players aren't available do you want us to just sign anyone? Warnock proved last year that he has a good head for getting the right players in (ok not all of them). I trust him anyway
