QPR boss offered players for next season Apr 23, 2014 15:20 By Paul Warburton 0 Comments 33 Shares Share Tweet +1 Email Redknapp reluctant to do any deals until Rangers' fate is decided Plenty to ponder: QPR boss Harry Redknapp Harry Redknapp reveals heâs been inundated with offers of players for next season - but the QPR boss has told agents nothing doing until he knows what division the club is in. After winning a place in the Championship play-offs on Monday, Rangers hope it all ends in Wembley joy at the end of May. However, new faces in a squad returning to the elite is not the same as one facing a second season a division down, reckons Harry. The situation is slightly complicated by the managerâs expected knee operation demanding business gets done on the end of a phone while he convalesces at his Sanbanks home. He said: âPeople are ringing me up saying what are you looking for next season? I havenât a clue because I donât know what league weâll be in. âIf you get promoted youâre looking at players who will keep you in the Premier League, itâs a different scene. âAs for my op, Itâs only a phone call thatâs needed most of the time, and not as if youâre running round the country chasing people.â Defender Richard Dunne has already won a yearâs extension. Rob Green and Clint Hill are expected in talks soon for new deals, but Stephane Mbia and Loic Remy are almost certain to be sold, and the fate of 15 more, out of contract, hangs in the balance.
