Armand Traore red card v Aston Villa http://vodpod.com/watch/15454916-armand-traore-red-card-v-aston-villa
Sunderland fan in peace. I was going to start a thread to say how much I admire Warnock for speaking the truth and not trying to make excuses for stupid players. Have always liked his forthright manner and think you guys are in for a good season.
Well, he played a good game so Warnock shouldn´t call him a disgrace in public - something he should have kept internal I believe. Well deserved point today, we just missed out too many chances...
Exclusive – Warnock: Being sacked as QPR boss would have been a blessing in disguise http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-n...ed-qpr-boss-would-have-been-blessing-disguise
Fair play to Warnock for saying it how he sees it, he's not always spot on but if it helps traore to develop into the player he can be then say it, traore will only get better from this
In my opinion, he's been very harsh on Armand. His first 'booking' wasn't even a foul, and I thought he had a very solid game apart from his second yellow, which yes was a very late challenge.
I think the point Warnock was making is that it was a totally unnecessary challenge after he'd already been booked. Wenger would probably have whinged "I did not see it"...
Well, in the same piece he did say that he otherwise had a good game but was stupid for making that mistake at the end of a match.
Video – Adel Taarabt’s Skill Check vs Aston Villa http://theoriginalwinger.com/2011-09-25-video-adel-taarabts-skill-check-vs-aston-villa
Thought he'd had a good game up until the sending off - saw NW giving him a good talking to before he went off down the tunnel though, so maybe he was getting his point across then, before broadcasting his views to the Beeb
I don't like the way Warnock said what he did in public, but I guess he's just trying to get the right reaction from Treore. But I think he was even unlucky to get booked on the second challenge as it looks like he's trying to pull his legs back, but hey ho. But it is things like this that could still leave us in trouble, we haven't got the squad to be getting so many cards. Roll on January.
I absolutely love this bloke. Only COLIN! Its a pity he didn't say that about that brat Taarabt a few times last season. But the bloke exudes passion. A word of warning however. I believe he said this because his temper was reaching boiling point. Be prepared for some point in the future for him to unleash hell at either officials or opposing sides when we're on a bad run and watch the football world turn against us. Guaranteed.
Neil is fantastic, what he said about Armand was direct but spot on. He gave him praise as well as criticism, and it looked like he gave this before he'd got off the pitch. He says it like he sees it, and he's been there years and knows what he's talking about - f¤¤¤¤¤¤ brilliant. Hope the PL appreciate his honesty about the officials as well Swords!
I'm with you on this one LoneRanger. I think Sir Neil was a little harsh on Armand, who I thought, second booking aside, played really well. Either way, there's no need to air it all in public.
