QPR manager Mark Hughes is making a move for Tottenham's Steven Pienaar.
The South Africa midfielder has grown frustrated at his lack of first-team chances at White Hart Lane, and manager Harry Redknapp is willing to let him go 12 months after signing him from Everton for £2million.

Pienaar, 29, came off the bench for the last 15 minutes against Everton on Wednesday and that could be his last appearance for Tottenham, with Hughes ready to offer £3m.

Hughes remains keen on Blackburn centre back Chris Samba and is hopeful of deals for Chelsea defender Alex and Manchester City's Nedum Onuoha.
However, Onuoha is unsure about leaving the North West while Juventus retain hope of signing Alex.
Meanwhile, QPR are close to a deal with Ealing Council to make Warren Farm their new training HQ.

Not too sure about this or the £3mill price tag.

Guess he may have been near the end of his contract with Everton, hence low price. Liked him up there though.

Don't really like to speak ill of the bloke, but he's always struck me as a bit of a Kournikova player.
Look's good but dosen't win anything. At least in terms of end product, ie there isn't any.
I cant think of anything match winning or exceptional from him.
Was really surprised when Harry signed him, and was surprised he moved there to not play.

Was a consistent performer at everton when they were a top 6 side , one of their better players. Played well for spurs and got injured at the wrong time . For me would be a steel at £3mil, talented player and has prem class.

Would be a decent signing to bolster the squad but not spectacular. If we can sign 3-4 of this type of solid premier league player plus a game-changer to score us some goals then chances of safety this year would be looking rosy.

Where's Cerny? Surely he can put all this speculation to rest?

An Everton fan described him as helpless without Baines. Hence no success at Tottenham.

But i would take him if it meant we brought in Baines as well ;)
