21/01/2012 by David McIntyre Boss Mark Hughes praised Akos Buzsaky after the Hungarian played a starring role in QPRâs 3-1 victory over Wigan. Buzsaky, frozen out by Hughesâ predecessor Neil Warnock, scored with a spectacular free-kick to help Rangers to their first league win under the new manager. âTechnically Akos is a good player and itâs obvious he has ability,â said Hughes. âHe hasnât played many games and was flagging towards the end so I took him off, but he was excellent today.â Rangersâ win against the Premier Leagueâs bottom side took them out of the bottom three and eased their fears of an immediate return to the Championship. But Hughes warned that they still have a tough battle ahead as they look to avoid the drop. He said: âWeâve now got to show that kind of attitude and determination in every game. âWe know itâs going to be tough, but youâve obviously got a better chance when you play with that kind of commitment.â Meanwhile, Rangers are assessing a hamstring strain suffered by striker DJ Campbell, who was substituted at half-time. âItâs a tweak. Weâre hopeful itâs not too bad,â Hughes revealed. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-boss-hails-excellent-buzsaky/?
The last time buz played well (everton), his next game was a shocker (wigan I think). Hope he can repeat the performance.
