Hi I have just brough a new house and the wife has been kind enough to let me create a "man room" Does anyone know when i can get a very large stencil so i can paint the QPR badge on the wall?? Thanks Dave
Best I ever got was a poster of a program cover...but it had to be from the 60's so it was retro...ah to have an badge on the wall...
Dave, you don't know how lucky you are, most wives don't even know why their men support QPR. Best way to get image stencil on a wall is to use a projector and project the image on the wall whilst you draw & paint it. Just thinking about it, you could actually paint a whole mural of the loft end to cover the entire wall.
I have found a custom wallpaper site where you can upload a picture and they blow it up onto a wall sized poster. One of the example shown is the view of some sitting in there seat of a football stadium!! Is cool but quite expensive depending on the size of the wall.
Okay......deep breath......DT is affectionately known to all and sundry on here as oddball....DT stands for Dave Thomas he all time favourite player and is his latest login incarnation.....however he is a brilliant designer, take a look at the banner on this page of all the shirts, DT knocked that up during a coffee break.......it didn't take him long anyway..... BTW he knows his football.....
My son is a Skylanders fan and I bought off ebay a large acrylic Skylander wall art for his room. I bet they would make you a QPR one from a JPEG of the badge. Look it up at they are very impressive.
To make a stencil you need four bails of hay and 5 old pet insurance policies Reflect the sun rays using two foil cake buckets onto the designated wall area Remove your clothes and cover yourself in blue paint Squirm onto the wall and thrash around a bit while chanting: Sir Les Sir Les ride me like sea biscuit This should summon the wizards Rub yourself with the hay ... Don't eat it ! And get your lady to do the silver bits. You need to get hold of a .eps or master .ai vector file of the logo ... It scalable to any size take that to any large format print shop Suggest a van or signage shop and get them to quote you for the print I wouldn't attempt to hand paint it it will look **** as the current badge is complex in terms of symmetry Maybe a retro badge would be easy to sketch I would get a print done and save the hassle if you need QPR pyjamas then ask Flyer he makes them from old pet insurance policies
