    QPR and Brentford are battling it out to sign Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo on loan.
    The Nigeria international, who has yet to make his debut for the Blues since signing for the club in January 2012, spent last season on loan at Championship play-off finalists Middlesbrough.
    However, after making just 19 appearances at the Riverside, the 21-year-old is looking to get his career back on track.
    Fellow West London sides QPR and Brentford are keen to offer the former Standard Liege youngster another crack in the second tier.
    However, the duo will have to see off competition from Ligue 1 side Lille for his signature.
