Blackburn and QPR have been put on red alert after Italian legend Alessandro Del Piero revealed he has no plans to retire when he leaves Juventus next summer.
Del Piero has confirmed that he will leave the Italian giants at the end of the season and there had been reports that he would hang up his boots following an illustrious career for both club and country.
But the 37-year-old insists he has no plans to walk away from the game just yet and still believes he can compete at the highest level.
Del Piero said: "I won't stop playing. There is just Juventus in my future for now. All that I am thinking about is this Serie A season and the Bianconeri.
"The hope is that we'll be able to do well in 2012 all of the things that we did well in 2011."
Both Blackburn and QPR are looking to strengthen their squad and could make a shock move to sign Del Piero at the end of the season.
Steve Kean is desperate to turn the club's fortunes around while QPR boss Neil Warnock would welcome the experience that Del Piero would bring to his squad.

Ten years ago, being linked to a player like Del Piero would have been a dream.

Now, it's still a dream, but not the good kind....

Actually, I watched the old Jack Lemmon comedy film, AVANTI, the other day. It's set in Italy, and the local mafia family in it is the Trotta family.... honest!

Del Piero is the one in the tie, and the little bloke in the 'tache looks like Joey Barton mid-movember.

And isn't the one on the left our beloved national team captain?

Excellent Will... and the one behind Barton and next to Del Piero. Isn't it Dick van Dyke of Mare-wy Poppinge fame?!!

    Alessandro Del Piero?

No, grazie. Stick to doing your sh*t adverts for mineral water with that stupid little bird. (the feathered variety, makes them even more sad)

Once a "Gobbo" always a "Gobbo". May god forbid un servo juventino ever wear the hoops.

End of rant although I could continue!

    I will....

Buffon, Cannavaro and Gattuso are under suspicion in Italy right now. The first two, along with Aquilani, Materazzi and Di Canio, are known fascist sympathisers and can f*ck right off.

This is a complete non-story. The first half of the article is Del Piero saying he's not looking at leaving Juve and the second half is the 'journalist' simply saying that QPR and Blackburn will be looking at making some signings in January. There is no link between Del Piero and either club other than in the brain of the idiot who wrote it.

'We could make a shock move to sign Del Piero'. Well no s**t, we could make a shock move for me to sign as a Taarabt replacement. Probably not going to happen though is it?

Why do they always link Blackburn with our targets? Venkys haven't sold too many chickens lately so they'll be buying SFA in jan.
