Not much point in summarising the much. Dire, ****e and idiots are the only real words that spring to mind. This expensively assembled QPR team looks great on paper but so does communism. Passion and commitment were lacking as usual from most of the team. And the boos that rang round Loftus Road at the end should hopefully signal to even the most stupid footballer, that they actually have to try for once in their careers. Our best chance this season for staying up, is if there are 3 teams worse than us, because on the performances under Hughes, there is a no chance of us digging ourselves out of it. Kenny 4 - lucky not to be down in 2 mins as positioning was awful for Johnson offside goal. Improved as game went on but was rounded easily twice and lucky quite frankly not to concede more. Cerny needs to be played next game. Taiwo 5 - average, gets better with every performance but looks crap at the back Hill 6 - probably our best defender which sums up the sorry state that we are in. Can really be faulted for the goal and managed to contain Johnson well-ish Ferdinand 3 - pretty dire, no real passion shown, directly responsible for 1st goal. Needs to be played with Onuoha in the centre Onuoha 4 - dreadful as a RB and indecisive going forward. Is a CB not a CB/RB. Diakite 2 - moron. Continues the streak of QPR players getting needlessly sent off this season. Was too slow for the game. When actually on the ball, not hopelessly chasing it like a dog, looked good and an upgrade for Derry however even Derry isnt as late with his challenges. Barton 4 - Will probably come out and blame the ref, manager, fulham, groundsmen, teammates, basically anyone but himself for his usual ****e performance. Still hasnt learnt how to make a pass or take a free kick. Perhaps if he gets stuck with the u14 and watches as the pass the ball round him repeatedly he'll learn, but then again, probably not. SWP 4 - actually took on some players for a change however it is safe to say that SWP peaked in 2004 and has been on a downhill slide since. Shouldn't be starting, Traore took it round more people in 10 mins than SWP managed in 70. Not to mention the one time you actually wanted him to pass the ball instead of run or shoot, he didnt and missed the goal from 4 yards. Taarabt 7 - once again the only attacking threat. Needs shooting practice but is a class ahead of the rest of his team-mates at this moment in time. Mackie 6 - Ran and ran but is not a winger. As to why every QPR manager feels the need to play him there is unknown. Funny how when he is played as a striker, he creates chances and scores and yet when is played as a winger, just chases the ball with his head down. Zamora 5 - anonymous mostly. Is a god-awful target man. If we insist on playing some crackpot 4-5-1 then can we please use Helguson when fit. Zamora only works as a player, when used as part of a pair. He doesnt have the aerial dominance or hold up skills. Subs: Traore 7 - should have started the game. Can actually run at players unlike most of the others. Also knows how to defend, once again unlike most of the others. Buzsaky n/a Manager Hughes 0 - could this be the time for QPR fans and the board to admit we should never have sacked Warnock? Hughes appeared to have not learnt anything from any of his games in charge other than Fitz Hall is not serviceable as a football league player. **** formation, Mackie should have been upfront, as to why Barton and SWP were in the team not on the bench/reserves only he can say. Should have taken off Diakite after 20 mins. Diakite was so reckless he was lucky not have been off after 10. But no, he was kept on and unsurprising after the 8th late challenge he was sent off. What the actual **** Hughes? You were brought in to bring stability to the club and to keep us up. We have if anything got worse. You will be gone by the end of the season but at least try to keep us up
Only saw the second half but Taarabt was embarrassing apart from the great through ball to SWP. This is from one of his biggest fans.
Have to disagree with you regarding Bobby. From watching him for the last 4 years at Fulham I would say today was a 9/10 performance. He only has a 1 in 4 (well a little over actually) so he has his goal this month. Give it a few weeks and your be gagging for a performance like today. On the plus side he had a decent record in the championship for west ham so he may still prove to be a snip at 6m
