Alright lads... I went to the game today and really enjoyed the day for obvious reasons.

Yes Danny did dive for the penalty but some say it is revenge for the Helguson dive for your penalty in October. I don't think this one was a penalty. I was in the lower tier of our end 4 rows from the front and could see it well. However overall I think we deserved the win. The first half was pretty boring but the second half was of great improvement.

I'm proud of our 3100 Chelsea fans for not singing any malicious songs today. Ours were all good natured and we sung loudly. It was a cracking atmosphere but I was very surprised at he attendance. 15,728 with 3100 being Chelsea fans. There were many empty seats in the QPR ends which I was quite shocked about. It is a huge game for both clubs and I thought you would sell it out. Clearly not.

regarding trouble between the fans there wasn't much. The security was ridiculous and the police were taking loads of photos of our away end. There were a couple of incidents. After we scored, there were clearly some chelsea fans in the QPR end (The South Africa end I think) and they celebrated when we scored. Stupid to blow their cover. However a QPR fan then came and was throwing punches at them. One of them was a lady ffs and some QPR fans got very agressive with them. I was on the opposite end of the School End to where it happened but loads of security handled the problem. Also Mike Dean had to stop and talk to a steward in the middle of the game. Apparently QPR fans were throwing objects and John Terry and using abusive language. That remains to be seen but apart from that I thought it was a good natured cup tie.

Really enjoyed the game and the atmosphere and us CFC fans sung our hearts out. Have a good rest of the season lads.

I know what you mean but I hadn't realised one of the fans was a Women, shocking stuff. I saw punches thrown etc and I understand those Chelsea fans were in the wrong but no need for people to hit women.

I don't think Danny dived (haven't seen a replay) but I also don't think it was a pen, very similar too Helguson's. Football is a contact sport and I thought Hill (I think it was) pretty much just stood his ground. Very soft.

I thought we probably edged it but would not have complained if we drew as neither side really had the cutting edge and neither keeper had much to do.

I'm just glad to be in the 5th round but we have to move on and prepare for midweek, both teams were poor today and we both have difficult away midweek fixtures. If we both play like that midweek both teams will lose.

Thought the game was handled well by Dean, the FA and the fans in general

ummm Helguson was pushed in the back. Your guy clearly cheated.
and don't think this was a massive game for us. We only care about the league. That's why that was our lowest attendance of the season except MK Dons.

Agree first half was boring and a little bit more entertaining in second.

Many QPR fans seem upset /angry at performance which I just can't see. We only got beaten, by a team worth hundreds of millions of pounds, by a soft penalty (I think we can all agree that soft and avoid endless arguments about whether it was / wasn't or dive / not dive) and only 1 nil. That is just fine for me, leaving us free to concentrate on premiership survival.

Fighting over football is always stupid in whatever context.

Empty seats discussed in other threads.

Hoping we can come to The Bridge a stronger and slicker team on 28th April.

Cheers for that Chelseaboil333, no argument from me. We were ****.
Didn't really hear you sing until you scored. I was in the Loft.
Regardless of the circumstances, I thought the media made more of this than we ( the fans ) did.
I'm glad this game is out of the way now.
We have to concentrate on staying-up.
As to whether it was a penalty or not, i don't know. I couldn't see it from where I was sitting.
But by all accounts, it wasn't.
Mike Dean will have to live with that desicion.

I can't be arsed to get involved in any football rivalries tonight, so good luck in the cup.
It's realistically your only chance of silverware this season, but hey, you never know.

Sorry Rangers Til I Die but have you seen the replay? Its a blatant dive. Watch the reply and there is no debate that he threw himself to the ground. I wont mention it again but he did cheat. But we didn't deserve to win.

    ok 17, noted.

The point is, after their last visit here, they had every incentive to come back and wipe the floor with us, as their multimillion pound team should be able to do.

Part of the reason they were not able to was because of the very organised back and mid. If MH can now work on creativity and fire power, we have a fighting chance.

I agree with you on the first point but to say this wasnt at least a big game for us is just a lie. I was buzzing throughout the day and have been looking forward to it more than any other league match this season bar Bolton and Chelsea league.

They're our biggest rivals and the atmosphere showed that. Whenever we play Chelsea it's always going to be a big match. Whether we like it or not we're always going to be punching above our weight against them and that's what makes it so special for us.

Attendance was poor mainly due to people not wanting to take their kids along with trouble rumoured. You lot from Kensington are a scary bunch you know! <laugh>

Well I'm telling you as a fact that we were loud. Maybe not loud enough! Had some goo banter with those to the right of us... What was that lad doing in the upper loft on the tv pantry? We started singing 'he's gunna jump in a minute'... Also did you like our bouncy? It was a good one :)

Yeah the bouncy is always good fun! Especially when the whole of our end is doing it!

I thought your fans were terrible, but my Chelsea mate says he couldn't hear us so it was probably a case of sound not travelling.

Attendance just proves 'magic of the cup' is gone, even I had to keep on reminding myself it wasn't a friendly

Yes it was, guessing you didn't hear us sing 'We forgot that you were here' when (to us) you sang for the first time after you scored?

It's only the P,Q,and R ( No, im not dyslexic ) blocks that sing through- out the game, so maybe the sound dosen't carry.
But to have 3,000 + away fans and not hear them... that makes no-sense. As I said earlier, I heard them after they scored.
    Bizarre!!!

Well I'm surprised it didn't come across to you lads at the other end. I was walking next to some QPR fans on the way to the tube station and they mentionned that that was the best vocal away support they had heard at Loftus road ths season.... At least there was no violence (apart form when we scored in the SA end) between our fans and yours...
