Daily Stir: QPRâs out of the world move for Man Cityâs Tevez, Spurs striker linked with exit Posted by Editor on January 14, 2012 in Daily Stir · 0 Comments Todayâs football transfer rumours featuring QPR, Tottenham, Manchester City, LA Galaxy and York City. Scientists at the Cern Large Hadron Collider were inadvertently dragged into the transfer window madness today when they discovered a parallel universe in which QPR are lining up a bid for Manchester City mad man Carlos Tevez. The new universe can only be seen on a giant iPad and has been named The Hyperbole Vortex. It was believed to have been created after Georgie Thompson left Sky Sports News and bosses realised no one was watching anymore. About the transfer, new QPR boss Mark Hughes said: âI canât see what could possibly go wrong with Tevez and Joey Barton in the same team.â In related news, Harry Redknapp is said to be about to offer David Beckham a short term loan deal at Spurs. Redknapp flinched when confronted by journalists about the possible transfer, then denied knowing anything about it, then flinched again, said something about Demba Ba, flinched once more and then wound up his car window, flinching. Finally, Jermaine Defoe is looking for a move away from Tottenham in order to secure regular first team football. Falkirk and York City have not yet ruled out a move or the striker. Or ruled one in. Or been contacted by The News Grind. Or any other journalist.
Very funny! I still don't rule it out if City were to relent and permit a loan deal however. Just stepping into the vortex now...
Excellent piece Kiwi. The Hadron Collidor angle is very smart. The crazy world of QPR is tailor made for Spoofs. It is surreal. If you want to stick any stories on Spoof.Uk its easy to join and you can get a pretty big audience when they hit google.
