Oh no, we've been snubbed by a hoax! <wah>

You're right about it being a **** idea, though.

Do I sense a bit of jealousy? <laugh>

Hoax for now but bound to happen sooner or later, I think I'll give up football when it does.

Definitely don't want this at all. Complete joke. If it did happen I can see new clubs like AFC Chelsea or whatever being set up because I'd much rather support an English team in an English league going home and away week in week out up and down this country... Hate that idea from Qatar

This is a non-starter for me (not that we'd ever be invited!)

There's no way teams would want to shuttle back and forth to Quatar to play mod week games, as they do with the Champions League, so if they were to hold it it would have to be in the off season.

Do this, and every team would lose a large contingent of their best player during World Cup and Euro Championship years - so they'd only have the top quality there half the time.

And if they wanted to have the clubs leave their national championships, why the $&@! Would they agree to do so by also leaving their local fan base to play full time in Qatar?

If this was another rehashing theEuro league idea, then I might see it happening, but this current idea? Nah.

Anything that causes problems for FIFA, EUFA and the FA is fine by me. Time someone shook the living bejeesus out of their arrogant and complacent attitudes.
Love the idea of Septic Bladder putting on his incontinance nappies, at the thought of losing power.

Completely agree, we become pawns in their game. With the money on the table I fear the greedy clubs will be enticed eventually though

I think there will be an IPL style Summer tournament in that part of the world within ten years. Player auctions, players paid a few million quid for three weeks of work in Dubai, the Abu Dhabi Dragons vs the Kuwait City Kings. Should be great:emoticon-0149-no:

Levy must be gutted about missing out. But when you only enter Europe once every 50 years why would you qualify
