    You alright Wubba?

Trump comes out in support of Saudi Arabia. Now there's a surprise.

    Once again, bravo FIFA.

Strange that the Saudis have led the move against Qatar claiming they have funded Isis and Al Qaeeda when it was the Saudis themselves that funded them originally, but hey, the Saudis can do what they like and we'll all still kiss their arses...

I wonder when, or if, FIFA will start to discuss the relocation of the World Cup?

They now should make some serious decisions.

I'm still alive & kicking thanks Stan

Strange atmosphere here in Doha, nothing seems to have changed and yet everything is different. And it's Ramadan, a time of peaceful reflection apparently.

Planning my exit strategy, been offered a nice posting in South Korea - frying pan to fire

Good to hear from you mate. I hope you have a decent supply of port laid in.

South Korea? I rather like it, once you get over the pervasive smell of pickled cabbage (though it is very tasty) and the rather odd neighbours to the north.

I've done most of the port watching the Giro D'Italia and CNN 'Qatarstrophe' coverage

I do have some decent scotch in though and a runny Pont L'eveque

Planning on getting away for Eid back to Sheffield via Tehran then interview for job in Seoul. I too was fond of the place when I worked there late '90 ' and still love a cheeky kimchi fix

Will def try and get back to HQ before Christmas to see our planned assault on a mid table position.

Keep your nose clean and good luck tomorrow with the GE
