    Have officially announced they have banned alcohol from the stadiums, streets, parks, public spaces etc.

    I hope its a total flop and they stick a cactus plant up Sepp Blatters Japs eye

    I wouldn't go to the Russian or Qatar World Cups if they paid me to do so..

    I'll tell you now, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Bahrain will make a killing off this World Cup, they'll be flying fans into Qatar every 5 minutes on £5 flights just to get people to stay in their countries instead of Qatar. There'll be cruise ships sitting offshore also. Many fans will make a mockery of the Qatari gov't they'll be in for the match then straight back out.

    You can't arrest tens of thousands of people.

    Just met an old work friend who just came back from a work assignment in Qatar in IT - said he would'nt go back and was threatened twice with a gun - t'is very dodgy place imo.
