Qatar hosted the asia cup and for one of the group games only 50 - 60 fans turned up to support both teams, thats less than Blyth Spartans, Truro city, and even my local village team (st. buryan afc) bought in at least 30 last week.

i know the world cup will bring in thousends from over seas but if the team of 11 nationalized Qatarians do qualify then you fail to see if they will attract 90,000 fans to watch a game of football from a country that only has the population of birmingham.

it also seems that it will be played over our winter football season like the african cup of nation is.

i personally think this Qatar world cup will be a disaster, i know its in 2022 and messi will be 34 and ameobi 39, but still our number 1 striker but its just a Fifa attempt at being different, brazil 2014 (fantastic), Russia 2018 (KGB attack Togo team bus), Qatar 2022 (world is locked in the middle of a nuclear was between Togo and russia (Togo now called Democratic Republic of Adeybayor Land), each stadium brings in an average of 300 fans because Qatar are at war with one of those other arabic countries over an old book and we all watch from our 133 foot screens.

or maybe it will go swimmingly, i dont know

From the comfort of your own sofa though...

5D could make video gaming very handy also, imagine running out for you boyhood, hometown club. Wearing the infamous No. 9 shirt. All you had ever dreamt of. And then turning down a big money move to Liverpool. As all and every proper toon fan would.

FIFA should put their foot down and state that 90% of the Qatarian team have to have been born there.

Sikh players are allowed to wear turbans whilst playing sports. I'm not sure if there's a special kind of 'sports turban' because obviously it could effect gameplay...
