q.p.r have a petition on their board to oust briartore and ecclestone. I know we have had some differences with some Q.P.R fans last season. but a lot of their fans are just the same as us and would be thankful for any support on their petition. lets put small minded squabbles behind us and support other fans in need of our support
Nothing to do with past squabbles etc but why do you feel this cause is so special? It is not like Brighton or Plymouth where they were about to go to the wall. This is one of the richest clubs in the PL (in terms of their owners). I accept the ticket prices are crazy but what is going on in the boardroom chaos and lack of transfers is not something outside fans should be too wrapped up in - in my opinion.
i must admit Thai I was thinking the same thing. A wealthy club who just got promoted....poor buggers!
I feel sorry for their decent fans who are the majority. However they have their fair share of lilly livered numbskulls who deserve everything they get. I don't see the point in their petition as Briatore, Ecclestone and Mittal will ignore it. With their wealth why worry about a few of the natives getting restless. On Talksport this morning I heard a QPR fan whingeing as they have only sold about 4,000 season tickets. With few more likely to go if/when they sell Taraabt. Also on Talksport, Robbie the Mole from Coventry got a name check - something about having a photo taken with Pele while Rob was on holiday in Florida - I think. Well done Rob.
so they want to oust the people that bank rolled them into the premier league? There's gratitude for you!! As for ticket prices, its a London club in the premier league they can and generally do charge what the hell they like as people will always pay it.
Is it not a bit difficult to 'support' them when they got promoted and we didn't and now they don't like their billionaire owners any longer...? Give a **** to be honest mate...not really a cause as far as I cam see...
I know it's the average fan that suffers, but I am finding it very hard to drag up any sympathy for this lot TBH
I'm caught in two minds on this one. On one hand I'm thinking that yes, it's crap for the genuine supporters of any club when stuff like this happens but what has this got to do with me? They were happy to gloat at how rich they were and how their new found wealth was going to rip the PL apart but now reality has set in and the sh*t has hit the fan, they're the poor ones who need all the support they can get?...I'm not buying into it sorry (no pun intended) Petitions very rarely do any good and actions speak louder than words. Hit the money men where it hurts and boycott Loftus Rd. I'll start it off by avoiding the place. On the other hand I'm thinking....."I wonder whats for dinner?" I'll be interested to see Ace's take on this one
I would actually be interested in starting a petition to keep Ecclestone & Briatore there as I am quite enjoying the fact that they are going to start next season with a worse team than this season. I also find it funny that evey player they are linked too seems to become crap overnight as soon as someone else signs them (Graham - Swansea, Morison- Norwich, Mackail-Smith - Brighton to name a few). All in all I think their board are doing a great job and are certainly keeping me amused. Thats just for starters, then take into consideration the anti-Welsh crap they have been giving us since last season ended which has stopped due to the excellent but fair moderation of our board from Sir H Bomb, unlike theirs (of which I am banned for replying aggressively to a PM from their mod where he called me a prick). Will I sign their petition - not a feckin chance in hell.
Its just the 1 mod Quo Vadis, Northolt-qpr. A prick of the highest order. Closes any thread where the debate doesnt go the way he wants it regardless of if other qpr fans are getting involved in the banter/discussions or from time to time a bit of wumming. He also claimed on a thread on there the other day that he never visits other temas boards and certainly never wums, I beg to differ.
Maybe the reason no one wants to go to QPR is because when they get relegated on the last day of the season they do not want to be involved with their manager trying to sue people who he thinks cheated them. Not that colin would do such a thing of course. Or maybe it's just colin.
Well said lads, could not agree more, I'm all for keeping briartore and ecclestone at QPR, they are doing a swell job!.................. please log in to view this image
