Question posed to Robert Huth by Kris Kamara Robert Huth came back with a one word answer: "Kante" Full article http://www.sportbible.com/football/...-did-leicester-city-win-league-title-20181001
Bit of a disservice to the rest of the team but is correct in regards to the defence - Kante was such a force, he made sure that the defence almost only faced long balls and crosses which were their meat and drink. If anyone ran at them with the ball, we were in trouble.
The worst thing was how purely we replaced Kante. Mendy is a different type of player and had a few injuries and Ndidi didnt sign until January. By then we had lost all of our momentum. Had we signed Wilf straight after then who knows what would have happened Its a shame Kante left when he did. I wanted to see just how far that team could go but unfortuntley we will never know. We knew Kante and Mahrez was always going to go but a shame we could hold onto Kante a little bit longer
He has a very bright future but is nowhere near Kante's class yet - main weakness is positioning but that will come with time.
