OK so we're all pretty much agreed our midfield has a combined age of 256 and have zero pace.

Why therefore do we not try the much vaunted PVM? Surelt with the amount of barrel scraping we're doing its time to give him a crack?

Get him in for MKD with Hogan, Hewitt, Andrade in fact all of the lads 'hungry' for a chance.

I may have to go on a crash diet and lay off the post Christmas port. I feel as old as Derry looks

He should have been on the bench and come on for Derry who was afraid to tackle for an hour.

How would we know if he never plays?

He deserved a place on the bench, we were stuffed once Derry got his card, hes not good usually but hes worthless when hes too afraid to tackle.

    I know!

He's so slow he makes Derry look like Usain Bolt, but he's a better player though.
Seriously, can't see how he can be good enough for the PL. And it definitely hasn't helped not playing any games for a year.

i agree - hard to see he could be good enough for the PL. I've seen rumours Lillestrøm are intersted - seems more like his level.

Yet again I've got to ask why did we bother? Another wage on a player who never plays?!?!

And don't get me started on the lad Tofas! I actually thought he was alright.

Mind you I thought di carmine showed promise....

    That's exactly his level <ok>

I don't blame you for asking the question WBA, legitimate question as he's only featured agains Blackburn. But I didn't see the logic signing him a year ago, cause if we're honest, we were on course for promotion. Knowing his qualitys after several years following the Norwegian league, the only way that signing was making sense to me where if we planed on staying in the Championship. Think he was, like Hulse and Smith, signed permanently only to provide cover to the first team when we secured our promotion.

He signed a two-and-a-half year contract worth aprox £1,5m (£12.000 pw)! His contract is still worth around £950k, so he will be a difficult player to shift. Extremely poor business sense by the club at the time, guess that's the price you pay for not having a scouting team.
Oslo, if Lillestrøm are interested it will at best be a year long loan with QPR covering most of his wages I'm afraid.

I hear you Norway but is he any worse than buz or Derry as they played today ? From the little ive seen of PVM I thought he looked ok?

Same goes for Perone. Ok at Wigan he looked shaky but it was early doors for him and he almost scored. Any worse than One Size??

Id prefer to see PVM over Ephraim and BP over Hall. The latter have had dozens of goes and have been lacking every time. The former have had 1 go and then been dropped. I have a feeling NW didnt like foreign players too much while Hughes clearly has an eye for them.

They're just different players, but you're right, he's not far off those two. Maybe better than Derry IMO.
The thing that has annoyed me is that Warnock said that PVM could play Faurlin's role, he CAN'T! Hence giving every supporter the impression he was a CM. The truth is that he's played ONE season of his career in that position, always a LM/LW before that. Lack of pace forced that change IMO. Best description I can give is that he's very similar to Morten Gamst Pedersen, only that he's a poorer version.

Didn't they watch him play? Only seen him on DVD/YouTube? Beats me.

He was part of a squad put together purely to get us promoted. We are in this position because of Tango & Cash not allowing NW wheel & deal pre season but we all know that already. It's a **** state of affairs but it could be worse! Keep the faith.

yeh,Neil brought PVM is as cover for Faulin; If I remember well Ale was injured a month autumn 2010 mut not agin until now, PVM has a good left foot, and some skill, but liittle speed. For me I was doubtful he would ever be good enough in the Championship, seeing as he didn't play he priobably wasn't though thats a bit harsh. But doubt he¨ll play in the PL

    £12,000 per week?

    For someone who dosen't play.

Christ on a bike! It takes me six months of nights, weekends and bank holidays ,
Christmas's etc of shift work to take that much home.
    I'm in the wrong game!
