completely hypothetical, don't want to put ideas in Ashley's head!

People talk about, for example, the Austin deal "just pay the extra £3m" as though £3m is nothing at all. I don't know how many newcastle supporters there are but at least 50,000. Would you all bung in £60 to sign Austin?
Complete nonsense to be honest, just genuinely wondered what people would do as its "only £60"

No I think I am putting enough money in and have done for a number of years.

I know folk get frustrated by the way this lot do business, completely understandable. We've always been low ballers when it comes to transfers under Ashley. We know this because other clubs have openly reported it back. I think you just have to accept that policy will not change. It doesn't mean we won't get anyone, it just means we narrow our options. There is good and bad to this policy. Sometimes we are just being silly, and probably not actually interested. Sometimes they are probably just protecting us from vultures.

Given there's about £50m in a bank belonging the club, I'd rather not stick any more in the kitty, ta.

The question is, how much will he be worth to Liverpool in 3 years' time?

We've already paid via the ST.
I'd stick a fiver in though, but take it back out if Gouff is still at SJP.

So another question - if you were guaranteed a free season ticket for life would you pay £10K up front if it was going to fund a buyout and made you a shareholder in the club

Before I commit can anyone tell me when I will die?

Just if I am going to die soon then the season ticket for life part doesn't sound that attractive.

I think a fan buyout could work, it would cost just that much. The thing is the club could be run better if we were just trying to break even. Not to mention if we started selling advertising.

Valuing the club at £500 million might be a tad overpriced even with the lost season ticket revenue.

You've forgotten to take into account Jak Attack's commission for setting it all up.
