Are you lot mad!!!! Webber didn't win. Why was he so subdued at the end? It was a stitch-up that Vettel very reluctantly played a part in whilst making it as obvious as he could.

More than a bit cynical if I may say so Blue! :)

I'd give the Champagne to Webber too. Well deserved, even if he benefited from Vettel's gearbox.

    Webber.

Champagne in his bowl, along with a pat on the head and rub behind the ear for being such a good boy.

    Who's a good boy, huh? Who's a good boy...?

Given Vettel's problem, his win was a bit hollow. The fact that Vettel kept up with Webber for much of the race despite short shifting makes you wonder how far Vettel could have moved away into the distance had he not had a gearbox issue.

The fight between Button and Alonso.

Alonso's move on Button was unbelievable, and the way Button returned the favour was fantastic.

Yes, I agree. These two shared a claim for 'best overtake' of the race in my opinion. In the end, I gave it to Button because it took a lot of intelligent planning to pull off that move. Alonso's was brilliant too, but Button was not fully in his 'operating window' at the time.

Both great moves; both highlights of the race.

I've got to agree again. Alonso v Button and Button v Alonso.

Do we get a poll for champagne moment of the season?

The sight of Horner watching the podium as the Aussie national anthem played was excruciating to watch. Everyone is so quick to accept that Vettel had gearbox problems, but, honestly, what a set up. It was patronising in the extreme. Webber is in Hell at the moment. Even when he is allowed by the team and his favoured team-mate to win a race it is still a humiliation and a reminder of the pecking order within Red Bull.

When Horner came over the radio, attempting to sound enthusiastic, but coming across as simply disingenous and slimy, Webber simply replied, "Thanks guys" in a deadpan voice.

    I hate Red Bull.

I don't want to judge whether this was a set-up Basil; but apart from that, I completely agree with what you've said about Horner and the Red Bull top brass.

It was just as easy to see on Helmutt Marko's face. And when Horner was interviewed, he referred to "Mark Webber"! When has he ever referred to his other driver by including his surname? He always refers to "Sebastian" and never uses his surname. These little things may sound petty, but believe me, they are deep-rooted in hard-to-hide psychologies.
