anyone else think we should push the boat out and spend big on a quality striker, this is our best chance of getting into europe in my living memory, would be a crying shame if we blow it through lack of firepower after a great season so far, i just can't see liverpool, villa and everton being as poor next season.:grin: ftm
 
I think the risk with that is, £10m+ strikers you can add an extra 5 million on top in the January window, I think thtas what Brucies worried about
 
It `s a big call for Bruce to make . Push on this season or wait until next next season when he can get the right guy for the right price .I say push the boat out and get a big player in, to finish this season as high as pos .
 
You right...go for it cos one day you might regret it! Remember monkeys heed had a similar chance but said squad was good enough but he was eventually proved wrong!!!! strike while the irons hot-!
