Typical Argyle......Darren Purse voted into Div 2 team of the week.........isn't that the the same Darren Purse that Argyle want to off load........money more important than security in the league........it can only be Argyle that get the cart before the horse.
Don't be fooled by the saving of wages bull. There is plenty more to the story than that I'm sure. He was quite decent on Saturday but I'm not sure about voting him into the team of the week.
Well the Press Association certainly thought he was worth their vote.....sensible. So do you think he is stirring a few waves and Fletcher can't cope with him ? If so....I would ask the next question......how is the man with green blood running through his veins coping with the shambles that he sees......Mr Paul Wotton......I'm waiting for something to happen there.......ending up with him being moved on or him retiring. Have you a view on that sensible.
Given his legs have gone I don't think we will see Wotton back on the pitch anytime soon plym whatever the feeling between him and the view he has. If it looks like his career is over then he might have something to say to Mr Fletcher unless he is after a job on the Staff side. The word is that Purse told Fletcher a few home truths. I have no idea if that is right or wrong but if it is right then not surprising about the transfer list is it as the Manager is always going to win if he isn't sackable.
They are saying on Facebook that is was a punch up between Wotton and Purse that prompted Purse to be put on the transfer list ..... Wotton is and has always been a bully !
Can't see Wotton bullying Purse Gat. Slightly outweighed and sized I think and also both are as long in the tooth player wise. I have heard that they had a set to also but that is as well as Purse having a go at Fletcher. Neither would surprise me particularly. Don't suppose it will be made official public news anytime soon either way.
I heard that there was a punch-up between Joe Lennox & Purse after one of Lennox's meerkats escaped from the kitbag where he keeps them during training. The meerkat bit Purse on the **** when he mistakenly referred to it as a ******* *****ose, which is, as we all know, equivalent to calling a Scotsman British. A fight ensued in which Lennox laid Purse out with the aid of standing on a chair. This all comes from a reliable source - I made it up myself.
Your loosening up a little notDistant.........is this all part of you being jovial for Christmas.....or is it....."if you can't beat the idiots join them"......have you noticed that some of us are a little flippant at times......can't be serious for ever.....must remember we follow,....for our sins,...PAFC. PS......actually the punch up was between Carl and the tea lady....he wanted six sugars and she told him not to be greedy, have two sugars like everyone else......then she felled him with a dirty soggy dish cloth from ten paces........of course Carl made yet another wrong decision and ducked to the left and she hit him full in the face.........interviews for a new tea lady begin next week and an appointment is expected before the new year......in the meanwhile out of favour Darren Purse will be standing in as tea person......and could easily be chosen as best tea person in Div 2 for December.
No Plymborn, I do actually enjoy a good larf all the time about most things. However, I am a very serious Plymouth Argyle supporter and Plymouth Argyle remains in a very serious situation; it's OK for the minute, just about, but things could very easily go badly wrong on the pitch and off at very short notice. Therefore I do get upset when I read things which suggest there are those that don't recognise that and potentially do the club harm just when it's at its weakest. In fact, I'm so high spirited, this will be me if we beat Exeter this afternoon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bnTtb1OFumc and this is apropos of nothing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-PruwJz4xbA
Well notDistant a win today would be a bonus......although local derbies generally have no bearing on the form book.....if we get stuffed by Exeter I will be concerned that last weeks result was just a flook........one of the worse home records easily beats a team that have only lost once away this season......that would make me wonder if York turned up with less than eleven players or there was a little side bet placed on a home win.
