Yesterday on talksport Hawkesbury and Jacobs said that CR would last 10 games, and that EC only took 2 hours to decide to turn down the last offer from the club, So what did that say about CR. I think they are wrong are owners aren't trigger happy. They will back the manager financially and with patience.
Durham and Gough likewise spouting a load of tosh on their Drive program last night ... always keep in mind that such shows benefit considerably from Switchboards jammed with irate callers ... Durham is arguably the biggest plum on the radio ... he must have made a fortune for the station with his continual winding up of Gooners in particular ... I expect our owners to give Claudio Ranieri a fair crack at the job ... I also expect them to act deciseively if, having had that chance, he isn't cutting it ... only time will tell.
Since we gave him an ultimatum with the last offer 2 hours sounds about right. As for 10 games - if CR loses all 10, he will be out on his ear the same as what would happen to any other manager at any other club. They are just sprouting pub banter as fact like all hacks.
What is with all the media hatred for Ranieri? He's the footballing equivalent of Jeremy Corbyn! (At the risk of talking politics, I'm hoping both prove the media wrong!)
