i get it’s the popular thing to do, bash the likes of JFh, Lineker and now Andrews. But what did Andrews say that was wrong. He described our performance as brilliant but said we wouldn’t go up unless we strengthened the squad in January. That’s exactly what 90 percent of fans on here and elsewhere having been banging on about all season and especially now. So why’s he such a knob for saying what must of us are saying anyway, surely he’s helping our cause making club take notice a bit more
He's always been positive about Leeds when he has been the pundit before. Rightly mentions we need a bit more depth, only time will tell on this. The issue yesterday was the media were all caught up with a story on a day where their normal Premier League love in was not available to fill the news. The pundits covering the match and the interview teams went well overboard with their comments and the length of time they devoted to the subject. Many comments were frankly ridiculous sensationalism and not fit and proper to be broadcast.
The debate program immediately afterwards was far more balanced I thought. But then they had more time to analyse the whole fiasco. Andrews and co were reacting live to comments Bielsa had just made so wouldn’t read too much into it tbh
Me personally, I just felt he was anti Leeds to an extent it embarassed his collegues. 1) He said Leeds are better off without Pontus. 2) He said Leeds won't go up as they have a weak bench, just look at how good Derby's bench is 3) He was way over the top in the spygate scandal 4) Too opinionated calling for BPF to be banned and calling him a coward So first he shows his ignorance because if has been watching Leeds he will know we are not better off without Pontus Secondly whilst I agree we need to strengthen it is barmy stating we won't go up and comparing us to a team we crusied against twice I pay my Sky subscription so my money goes towards his wages, I feel I am within my rights to point out what I feel is biased poor reporting. I have tweeted and joined in debates tagging in sky as have hundreds of others but I never used bad or abusive language in the tweets
I've always quite liked Andrews tbf but yesterday he came across as a sanctimonious ****, saying Bielsa should be severely punished, it's not the done thing in this country blah blah blah. No rules have been broken, and in any case it's been going on here for years....and he knows it. Seemed to want to take advantage of the fact he happened to be in the studio and able to comment while it was all unfolding, but his 'grab the limelight' attitude could potentially unsettle the club unnecessarily and tarnish the reputation of a great manager and a decent man.
This^^^^ Andrews is a ****, he thought Derby were gonna thrash us last night, the bastard was wrong and it must have grated the **** to say we deserved the win, his attack and over reaction to spygate and saying Bielsa should be banned is way over the top, **** him and **** Sky No **** slags my club off, especially a ****ing done nowt won nowt ****ing pundit rant over
Yeh, historically, i’ve always thought he gave a bit of reasoned analysis but he lost the plot yesterday. They were saying its not against the rules but it was disgusting and we should have sanctions etc. Like you can fine/ban/deduct points just because you don’t like something. Then he goes on about BPF’s challenge being a red card, disgusting, should be banned, cowardly. BPF took the ball sensed the guy was coming (when he had zero chance of getting near the ball) did take a look at him and extended his leg to show a few studs. Not sure why. It looked ill advised and unnecessary... but it was hardly a kick, and the guy ran into it. You’d think he’d seen the guy lying on the floor and hoofed him in the head from the way Andrews was carping on.
Firstly SKY should have had an ex Leeds United player on as a pundit and not two players who have no real knowledge of the club. So what if Bielsa had someone spying. Sky have let that Liverpool twat back after he spat at someone. Whats worse. The thing that angered a lot of fans was the way the three lads went on and on about the incident.
Problem there Shaks is, that would give a more fair and balanced view of things, something Sky obviously don't want.
I would like to know who the cnut was who interviewed Bielsa after the match, what a prick!! Also Andrews hasn’t got a scooby over Bielsa’s tactics, pattern of play etc. but sky will keep employing him due to him saying the right things on there behalf. That scouse spitting cobra has been reinstated by sky which is disgusting, so that tells you what standards they have!! I would love that tosser being booted out permanently, but hey were Leeds United and used to being kicked in the balls. SO FCK EM IS WHAT I SAY!!! MOT
