If the Hammill deal is hanging in the balance, then could Jason Puncheon be one of the wingers we are looking at? The BBC story about him states that "several Championship clubs are interested in him". He certainly has the attributes to fit into our squad, he has Premier League experience with Blackpool and QPR and wouldn't cost us an arm and a leg, seeing as he has been deemed surplus to requirements at Southampton. I reckon it's a realistic target, but I am of course basing it on the fact that I can only assume we are in for other wingers, I can't confirm it.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Puncheon is fat and is even slower than Big Dele and it still looks likely that we will sign Hammill

Blackpool have just had a £650k bid rejected and are expected to bid again, I doubt we're in for him. http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/blackpool-fc/pool_in_puncheon_bid_1_4122942
he was on soccer am the other week, and they highlighted the fact hed had 10 clubs at 25, and posed the question whether the rumours where true he had an attitude problem, and my gut instinct from his cagey reply, was that he probably did....ha.. scored some good goals in his time tho
As a Saints fan I can assure you he has the talent (he has been on loan to two Premiership clubs), however he is one of those players that needs a bit of love and attention. Unfortunately for him Oxlade-Chamberlain was being selected ahead of him and he did not want to be play second fiddle. As a result he got some stick from the crowd and had an off the field bust up with one of our coaches. If you can offer him regular football and some nice things to say I am sure he would be good but I expect he will want to move somewhere where he is centre of attention.
