Both looking possible for a loan deal in January with KJ apparently interested in both or either. Sounds like Bouazza's days are over?

With the europa league almost definately over for spuds they're looking to send Andros out in Jan and Puncheon is only getting splinters at QPR so a deal for either is definately do-able.

How can Puncheon join us on loan isn't he on loan at QPR from Southampton? Or is his loan deal with them up in Jan?

Its good I suppose to have strength and depth but KJ seems very good at picking centre midfielder's and wingers. But I suppose if we get the irish lad from cork, Punch, Townsend and either Baker or Lowry Preferrabley Baker. Or extend them both to the end of the season Ill be happy. <ok>

Definatley missed Andros on the left ,and puncheons attacking options thru midfield as Abdou doesn't score enough goals if any at all!!, . Would love to see both back at the den , but now the cats out of the bag
there'd be plenty of competition for both services. Think southampton would be looking for a permanent fee for puncheon to off load him imo ,so andros would be a better bet but if jackett could pull it of both would be
the best news weve had this season.... fingers crossed.

Roar, I saw that almost immediatley after posting it. <laugh> If he's not good enough he's not. We dont need another dodgy striker we end up having to offload on the cheap. In a way I think if the situation doesn't drasticly improve by jan this may not be the worst thing. If Berylson see's weakness he will act and spend. If he thinks we might be ok he might be more reluctant. Loose 'em all i say!! <laugh>

You can still put bids in now etc just no paperwork can be signed until Jan so hopefully KJ is on the phones now getting the deals in place.

Cunning, do you think we should keep Simpson ( put in a offer for him) personally id send him back as im not that impressed and no different to what we have already, still think we need someone along with marquis to complement Henderson as this is our better option.

We can't afford Simpson's wages to sign him permanently but definitely need at least one more striker. Marquis is good cover for Henderson but McQuoid even when fit is never in the squad for games and Batt never looks as though he will ever be fit again.

No im not totally convinced by simpson. He's shown flashes of what made him a great player but if we can get him for 250-300k on a 3-4 year deal on 3,000 a week top end it would be ok as he may be a good commodity when he gets older.

Townsend was a big reason we got within touching distance of the playoffs last season and something we have sorely missed in addition to a decent goal scorer. Both would be great but reality is we probably won't get either - do we ever get what we want? ;)

Simpson isn't quite good enough and doesn't change games. Still need goal scorer(s) but Andros would give us goals we sorely miss and help us avoid relegation problems which would be more costly that his loan fees.
