The supply deal finalised but do I interpret correctly that its not sponsorship? I guess it means puma will not feature prominently on the kit but another company will, could be an indicator as to investment backers? oo much speculation and not enough concrete news around the club at the moment...

Burrda made the kits and sponsored us last season, but I don't think that Puma not following suit means we're being taken out/getting new investors. Kit makers only make the kit and have their small badge on the shirt 99% of the time.

No, the annoucement states they are waiting to confirm the new shirt sponsor....any ideas of likes? What about:

    - Apple
    - Audi
    - Thatchers Gold
    - Sailor Jerry
    - Doombar

It's weird to think we won't see the kit previewed til the end of July. That means we're starting pre-season in the old kit i'm guessing, which is odd, no?

As said, very rare to have one company supply kit and be shirt sponsor, so no surprise Puma will just be kit supplier.

As for sponsors.... maybe we could get Total back, and we can also sell them the naming rights for the stadium - the Total Football Stadium <whistle>

Seriously though... suspect it'll be something like an online gambling site. As long as it's not SBO BET. Always thought West Ham should have had an A at the beginning...

Maybe SEJ has a new album coming out and can sponsor the shirt for a few million, with the album cover on the shirt!

I reckon they could do what happened a few seasons back before Toshiba was the sponsor and they released a kit with no sponsor and you could get it put on when announced or opt to keep it plain. I liked the plain option and would buy one "sponsor free" if they were available.

Would you guys go "Sponsored" or "Sponser free"???

I would think they would have it ready for them by then.

I would not mind it being called the total football stadium if that reflected the style of play. Also i would not mind it being a means of advertising for SEJ, i think we owe him a little.

We could do "To sponsor this team call xxxxx xxxxxx"

Love to see Beaver's 'club' as a sponsor but won't hold my breath on that one. As for Burrda, I'd much prefer UMBRO.

But on Twitter this morning, the club said the shirt would be seen by the end of July and available at the beginning of August...surely that means the shirt, not the shirt with the sponsor...

I wouldn't mind a deal with Kopparberg if it meant that it was served on match days

I hope the designs ar better than the Burrda offerings, the last away kit was the worst I think we have ever had.
