Usual response to a new kit. We’ll get used to it if we start winning. Looks better on fit young footballers…not so much on the average beer belly
Well, Hummel kits are better for me. Quite liked last years. All a bit meh, but we won’t care soon enough.
Their Man City efforts (ones based on both the Hacienda/Factory Records and 'Madchester' fashion) are decent and unique. But ours is as generic as a 'soccer team's' uniform from a 90's Gillette advert.
Indeed last year's was a Saints classic now twice ... and based on one of the most beloved international kits of all time.
Think the kits look fine, the home one has grown on me the more I’ve seen it. Neither are great, just okay. Why do fan concept kits always look better?
They really do. Likely because they actually have an idea of what fans would like. There’s a thought for the companies…
You’re so right… I’ve seen so many amazing concepts on Twitter. I don’t understand how the professionals get paid to spew out garbage
Sponsor looks beyond horrific. Still find it mental that we've got a sponsor which is banned in the UK.
Not sure if they are, they have their own UK website. I think it is slightly amended from their main website, I assume the main thing is bonus buys that are banned in the UK but are the big attraction for most people playing on these sites
Got a reply from 2 - looks like the kit isn't available yet to them. They both said it may not become available either as the demand isn't the same as for others. If that is the case, I will stick with last years as after 3-4 years of paying £12-14, I can't stomach paying £60 for an identical product. Will keep you all posted.
Imagine Russ is quietly unhappy, what with his father having gambling issues that impacted the whole family I think.
Maybe. But if it gets him an extra few million to spend then I'm sure he will be fine. It isn't down to Saints to take a moral high ground. The clubs decided to ban them from next season, so we should play to the same rules as everyone else until then.
"It isn't down to Saints to take a moral high ground" I'd be interested to see how far you'd take that statement? Extreme example but would you be happy with us signing Greenwood because it's not our job to make moral judgements?
My guess is that no other possible sponsor came anywhere near what we were offered by rollbit . A case of needs must.
For anyone interested: Saints store staff have said that they will sell the women's team version of both shirts (Starling Bank sponsor) in men's sizes, they're just awaiting stock photos before they can upload for purchase online. So there is a possibility to purchase without the awful Rollbit sponsor logo
