http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-agree-puma-kit-deal-1874661 Not the best source, but i want your opinions on this. It would be the biggest deal in English football, but i'm not sure i want a puma shirt.
Hope not, its only one step up from kappa. If nike wont pay up then hope we go with adidas A quick look at the article below tells you how accurate that source is http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/arsenal-transfer-news-gunners-plan-1794169
Puma was always my favorite sports brand since I had an excellent pair of trainers from them. That was 20 years ago though; did they get a chavvy reputation since then? I don't care anyway. If it's true, we're lucky to get such a high bid.
It's the money we get which counts and £30m a year is a massive upgrade from our current crappy deal with Nike. Wouldn't mind if they'd bring him to us as well: please log in to view this image
As long as we get a load of money to spend on some new players, I could not care less if it's Nike, Puma or Adidas. Also this guy was clearly ahead of his time.
Plus, Usain Bolt is sponsored by Puma and he is the coolest person on planet earth. Maybe we can sign him as well.
Puma isn't known for the best looks but please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Obviously fan-made, but not bad potential designs. We still have this, know its a rumor but same guy who's gotten our kits the past couple of seasons right please log in to view this image
IDK. The home one is alright and I've liked the idea of us having a black kit. Hopefully the Pro Puma Designers make something memorable
Money talks, and the club will have a say in the design process too. Signing Bolt wouldn't be a bad move - he'd make a fairly pacey winger & he's got good height, plus he's well coordinated for a big guy. Arsene, sign him up!!
I would prefer Adidas as I think they make the best kits but Puma are a decent brand these days.(and alot more ethical than Nike or Adidas) Falcao has just signed a big deal with Puma as has Fabregas.... therefore that leads me to presume.. Arsenal 2013-2014 - sponsored by Puma. (i wish) --------------------Sczezney-------------------- Sagna------Merts--------Kos/Verm------Monreal -----------Wilshere----------Arteta--------------- --------------------Fabregas---------------------- Walcott-------------Falcao----------------Carzorla
The kits will not look anything like those. However made those should be punished for crimes against Photoshop.
True, far too "busy" looking Puma make nice kits though, certainly better than getting some Yank brand that don't really do football kits like us or Liverpool.
Apparently Puma have a big announcement at 19:00 today. Maybe beetroot face is becoming their head of marketing?
Im guessing the £30m a year would be based on us being in the Champs league, pretty sure they wouldnt announce it until the season's over?
No wont be anything like that. Just wont be announced until its finalised and there's some kind of press release put together. I used to work for a company that did alot of Leo Burnetts advertising campaigns (Puma being one of their brands) - We were working on stuiff for Spurs way before their deal was announced.
