Just give us the Juventus one ( without Wonga on ) and I'll be a lot happier.

I'd imagine Tubbs will use our summer recruitment as abit of a 'look at our ambition' chip to 'up the ante'...

Sympathy for you guys with that Wonga sponsorship. I don't think anyone with an ounce of decency would wish to be involved with a company that thrives on other peoples misery

It's an embarrassment to the club. I certainly won't buy anything with their name on.

I bet if Sir Bobby Robson was still at the club, he would have insisted you found another sponsor.

Not too fussed about Puma, want that Wonga bollocks gone though. Weararedbonnet, SBR had far too much class to work for a **** like Ashley

All this Wonga stuff is so disingenuous - what about Ladbrokes, or any gambling site? Or is that ok? Or any other bank, for that matter - the entire League is sponsored by a company who have made more people's lives a misery than Wonga ever could.

Anyone with a problem with Wonga is misdirecting their ire - it is capitalism to blame, rather than anything else. Wonga, as an emergency loan option, is really a last resort for those who more than likely haven't managed their finances properly in the first place. And before you accuse me, I myself have used Wonga during more desperate times and by managing it in the right way they saved me more in terms of fines/black marks than the interest they charge. It's like anything - do it responsibly and no harm no foul. People don't want to be responsible for their actions, they want to blame someone, anyone else.

Their logo looks ****, and Wonga is a ridiculous name, Roland. That's my problem with them. Not because I'm om my moral high-horse

Ah, I see - apologies, I went off on a completely different tangent. No arguments from me there. It really does. And of course in terms of a sponsor they're kinda rubbish.

No need to apologise, I should have been clearer since most people against Wonga are for those reasons. I'd love Brown Ale back on the shirts, but our next sponsor will almost definitely be Sports Direct

I think you will find that most people who object to Wonga do so for the reason that they are seen as preying upon the weak and vunerable, as stated by Roland not always the case, not because of the design of the logo. As for Brown Ale I don't see why this should be considered as it has got no connection with the city apart from the label now as it is brewed in Tadcaster, in fact as it was given a protected status as a brand it should have the label removed unless it is brewed in the city.

That's what I said (or meant if it came across differently), the reason I dislike Wonga is the stupid name and ugly logo, whereas for others it's morality. I know Brown Ale is made in Yorkshire or wherever now but our kits back then were fantastic

It's not just Wonga that riles me, but it sort of tells the reality of today's living. No such thing as professionalism in work these days. 25 years ago, you could trust your bank manager, solicitor, policeman and schoolteacher. these days I would have more trust in an angry cobra
