Good to see 28 points from 23 games. Sitting very comfortable with a decent fixture list between now and the end of the season. Great show from the boys in red and white!

Looking down the league and I think QPR will escape, that Remy looks like a good recruit and saggy chops, love him or loath him is an excellent club manager.

I really hope we beat QPR. If we were only get one more win before the end of the season I'd love it to be that one.

I really hope they go down.

Seen nowt yet to suggest they won't. Reading are picking up points. Villa, Southampton and Newcastle have a **** load more points than them. Wigan are about to go on a run of great form if the past is anything to go by.

QPR need to comfortably beat three of those teams in terms of points won over the next 15 games. Don't see it.

**** Redknapp and **** his ****ing dog

QPR have too much to do in too little time. Draws are better than defeats but its wins they desperately need and they wont get enough of them.

Plucky Reading have shown some fantastic spirit with 2 back to back wins and thats what you need to survive when youre in the clarts but they lack real quality. Still one of the favourites.

Southampton are the big losers this week. I really thought under Adkins they had enough fight and team spirit to pull clear but with the shenanigans of this week I think they could very well implode and free fall through the division. Big favourites now for me.

Villa are a bag of ****e and nerves but something tells me they may just keep their heads above water---just.

Wigan showed me that if they can buy a striker this window they have enough football in them to scrap a 4th bottom/5th bottom place again but defensively they are piss poor. We could have had 6 or 7 today with better shooting from some players like Johnson and Sessegnon. 50/50 imo.

Fulham are in a bit of a sticky patch and cant buy a win to save their lives but in Martin Jol they have a manager I respect and admire and they will find another 12 or 14 points to reach safety imo.

Then there is the mags. They, on form, are the second bottom team in the last 12 games and look to be struggling for form and points. That said, my feelings were they would beat Reading today and draw at Villa next week and have enough in the tank to pull clear. However, with that result today and another massive 6 pointer next weekend against Villa, they re right in the mix now and also 50/50 for the drop.

    Points average so far:

    Southampton - 1
    Mags - 0.91
    Villa - 0.86
    Reading - 0.82
    Wigan - 0.82
    QPR -0.65

However, more telling is the last 10 games form table:

    Southampton - 1.4
    Mags - 0.7
    Villa - 1
    Reading - 1.1
    Wigan - 0.5
    QPR - 1.1

On recent form and trends, 1.1 points wont be enough to save QPR but Wigan and the Mags are relegation bound unless the last 15 games changes dramatically and to be honest, we all know how hard it is to turn form around late on in the campaign. The only addition is the unknown factor of Southampton and they may spare the mags blushes by imploding from now until the end of the season.
Last 10 games form taken into last 15 games

    Southampton - 37
    Reading - 36
    Villa - 35
    Mags - 32
    QPR - 32
    Wigan - 27

The mags have lost about 8 out of their last 10 games man, total relegation form. Plus the rats are jumping ship, colchini and benafra or whatever their names are both wanting out. Spinderman has lost his mask and ba is scoring goals for chewsi.

3 wins should keep us up. We may well have those wins by March.

I agree that another 9 or 10 points will ensure survival this season and I can see nothing to suggest we wont get them with ease.

My prediction in the summer was comfortable top 10; I didn't change my mind a few weeks back when it was sticky and I see no reason to think otherwise now. We will be top 10 and with ease.

I'll be disappointed if we don't pass 45 points this season.

Our points to games ratio at the moment would have us on 46 at season end.

Not a mind blowing season by any chance but an acceptable one.

Personally, I think we will break 50. After all, another 22 points isn't that massive an ask from 15 games and our run in. Is it?:emoticon-0109-kiss:

Not a chance mate, if we were to win 1 more it would have to be at NE1

Not for me. I'd sooner see Redknapp take a team down. Hate the man.

Overrated manager and an utter prick.

    Still I'd need a draw at NE1!
