http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7729338/ "I've heard the criticism about the new signings, but it's someone's opinion. Others might take it hard, but it doesn't bother me," Maybe if it did bother you you might perform a bit better Stop playing the blame game ffs, I know what he's saying but he cannot say last summers signings have performed to the best of their ability. Its the eve of the cup final he shouldn't be talking like this Although strangely, its a different matter on the os http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/downing-wants-his-cup-hat-trick They never put anything controversial up there though do they? Although Downing has some point to prove against Di Matteo I really want Kuyt to start ahead of Downing. He seems well up for it http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/dirk-pinpoints-lfc-advantage Kuyt and Bellers cutting in to support Suarez in the middle for me. We need Kuyts engine as well for tracking back with Cole I must add though I do think Downing has been doing better recently and realise he/all new signings need to to settle in Except Suarez of course!
Look, there's not much point getting upset by what he says on the eve of a cup final. most of that is fluff and the party line. I'd get annoyed if he was critical of fellow players or was talking trash. anyway.... for me I don't want to see dirk play for lfc again, his legs have gone and he's not even doing what he did do before. 70mins of back passes are not what we need. Thats NOT to say downing ought to start either mind. I think we'll play with bellamy and henderson wide, gerrard joining with suarez perhaps... not too sure.
No Henderson! He needs time to be in I know but, its the final! We cant have any passengers Look, this will more than likely be Kuyts last big game with us and I think he will be FAR more useful than Henderson. Theres more to his game than back passes mate
I've heard this attitude from Downing already, the whole don't listen to criticism thing. He is playing below par this season, as is Adam and others, he would do well to listen to the criticism he gets.
