Tony Pulis has been sacked as Sheffield Wednesday manager after 10 matches in charge with the club next to bottom of the Championship. Wednesday made the announcement late on Monday. "The performances and results have not been of the level expected since Tony Pulis was appointed," chairman Dejphon Chansiri said in a statement on the club website. "There are also other issues which have had a bearing on this decision." https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/55471175
I do so love to see it all going tits up at Hillsborough. Can't wait til the day Chansiri properly takes his bat and ball home and leaves them completely and utterly in the ****, no stadium, no training ground, masses of debt, big wage bill and prob back in League 1. Fingers crossed there's a Wednesday til I die Netflix series when that happens
If the Sheffield massive want Grant McCann then I will get my car out and drive him there myself. £20, 2 Costa coffees and a Freddo would be adequate compensation.
Rumour is they're after Jose Morais, who did a fantastic job at Barnsley 2 years ago *Sideways glance to camera*

Morais arrived at Inter Milan in July 2009 to replace the departing André Villas-Boas, who took the head coaching position with Académica de Coimbra.[1] Hired by fellow countryman José Mourinho, the two reportedly first met at Benfica in 2000. After head coach Mourinho terminated his contract with Inter, Morais followed Mourinho to Real Madrid in June 2010. Similarly, he then followed Mourinho to Chelsea in June 2013 following the end of Mourinho's managerial spell with Real Madrid. He then managed in his own right in several countries, winning two K League 1 titles with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in South Korea. In December 2020 Morais was appointed to manage struggling Sheffield Wednesday and vowed to take them into administration within 5 weeks
Oh I just saw the Grant McCann link on Facebook. Can’t stop laughing, this’ll keep me going until next year
