Wish Grayson wouldnt bullshit us though, why say Wednesday morning if its not definite? Decent addition, providing we play Pugh and White down the left, and not bloody pretend Keogh is some kind of left sided player, who offers no protection to the left back. Sam on the right, Conns back in at RB, Lees in the middle and Mika in for Howson, Dont think we'd be far away.
ha ha! We`ve got to make it as hard for ourselves as possible Ken, and play as turgidly as possible, you know that!
Bit of a love-in all round today. Think I'd play a similar team myself. Ben I think given that Pugh may have played on Tuesday night, there was alway a slight doubt about the transfer being resolved yesterday. Anyway, glad its all over now, especially as we'll be looking to make the move permanent in January. Not sure where this leaves Parker now. Maybe a loan out to see where his future lies. So team for Friday Lonergan Connerly (if fit) Bromby Lees Pugh Sam Howson Clayton White Becchio McCormack Subs: Rachubka, O'Dea, Nunez, Keogh, Forsell
yeah, Graysons plotting his team sheet; lets play an out of form right winger and not some one who had a good pre-season looks fit and strong and deserves a chance, a centre back, who is probably our best centre back at right back when we have a usually reliable right back, a striker on left midfield, even though weve just signed a new out and out left sided player, lets drop the left back who has played consistantly well, and with some real protection could make some good overlapping runs and offer a real threat, keep playing Howson, as he's a Leeds united fan just like me, even though a Finish international has turn down **** loads more money to come and play for us.
Bruce, Bromby arent that tall either. I think Lees is taller. Lees 6ft 1, Bruce is a short arse at 5'11 and Bromby 6'0 Kissa only 6'0 too btw
Yeah he'd be good, i'm sure our defensive coaches can **** him up too, and turn him as ****e as Andy OB
This might sound stupid, but what about Campbell for a year? At worse grayson can tell our other defenders to buck their ideas up, or he'll let Big Sol bum them!
This is a good signing, and it's nice to see that we're looking to make it permanent come January. He's a consistent performer, will offer protection to the left back and also provide a bit of width. It'll give Aidy White the chance to overlap and get forward with a player like this infront of him. Hopefully we'll play Lloyd Sam - although he could be injured? Wasn't even on the bench last 2 games...- on the right and drop Snodgrass after his poor performances.
