I posted the question recently <ok>

The answer is less than what you think!

There's only 1 pub on the OKR, The world turned upside down. <ok>

All the other pubs on the OKR aren't officially on the OKR as they have the street addresses of the corner street they're on so there <nahnah>

"Fings aint what they used to be" I remember when I lived just off the OKR, there were about fifty pubs within easy walking distance, from the Turks Head on St James' Road to the Beehive down (forget the name of the road but the 78s used to go down there to Walworth Road and Paterson Park). Then from the Green Man on OKR to Canal Bridge, and a hell of a lot of little boozers in between.

Didn't know the Tom was still open. I thought it was offices now, last time I was there it looked closed up.

'ere, TC, you're bloody right. just Googled it. And it was Albany Road and Burgess Park not Paterson, that was over the St James' Road Bridge. Am I getting old?

Between 1986-1991 the Duke of Albany was the pub me and my postie mates drank in after a reserve game on a Monday afternoon, many players used to pop in and have a drink with us as well, mainly Dave Thompson,Phil Babb and Steve Anthrobus, good days<cheers>
