Anyone from Bridlington know of any pubs that show our games?, going sea fishing this Saturday morning then few beers after, any help appreciated
Ok fair point, thought the idea of showing games was to get people through the door, the west hull village where I live has two establishments showing Saturday afternoon football, everyone knows this and one even has a billboard to advertise the fact, i'm sure it wouldn't be too hard for any relevant authority to find out if they wanted to, anyone know of a decent boozer in brid for a nice Saturday pub lunch and decent pint that would welcome a group of city fans?
I'd appreciate if you could let me know which are the 2 pubs in West Hull village? PM me if you'd rather not put it on the open board. Btw, anyone know whats happened to Weir Bar? Looked like it was shut down last time I passed, or is it getting refurb?
I think there are legal ways of doing it too. There's a place in Hull that advertises showing every City game and says it is completely legal.
I can think of one pub in Brid which will have it on as a mate of mine goes in there. But, believe me, you wouldn"t want to go in it. As someone once wrote "the sort of place which if it had a piano it would stop playing when a stranger walks in".
Hopefully there was some sort of SARS outbreak and it never opens again. I think it's shut down, but I'm not sure what the reason is. Probably SARS. Let's go with that.
