They were very poor. If I were a betting man I'd have chosen these four as winners at the start of the weekend. It is an awful lot to expect Down to be up to this level after losing so many players. Of the 8 Q/Finalists SEVEN were division one sides.....in other words, division one less Armagh who miss out to the top Division 2 side. Perhaps there is something to that league after all.
Yeah I thought Down would put up a better show than that but credit to Mayo they were good. Dublin were awful, I think they would have lost if they had of played anyone decent. Cark and Donegal were both impressive for me and I would say the winners of that game will win Sam unless Dublin can improve or Mayo can cope without Andy Moran who I think is their best player by a long way.
