Well played swans ,deserved a point IMO, i thought we played superb football today and made a team full of multi millionaire footballers look average! that surez is a complete disgrace to football by the way, constantly looking for the imaginary yellow card, falling over claiming hand ball when it bounced off ash williams head etc,etc why he needs to it ive no idea ,he has so much talent .

What were the views of the fans that have been slating routledge as not doing much??

thought he had a great game today playing in his regular position , it shows that maybe some have been a bit harsh on him ,and maybe forgot that it is difficult to fit inot a new team and a relativly new position.

This was a massive point today and one that our performances have deserved, Vorm made some outstanding saves again but its hard to pick out induviduals , it was a TEAM performance and one that showed barring major injury problems we should be able to compete.

special mention to DG,had absolutly no ball all game yet still almost scored !! a lions performance from him and the rest of the team

    WELL DONE SWANS!!

Good to see Routledge playing wing where he only has to watch half as much territory & rely on his pace a trickery .. had a brilliant game . Players coming back , 2 week break , lookin good . I don't think after this performance anyone can deny that Swansea City Football Club belong !! . Vorm & Graham .... best value money could buy !!

Yes i agree, routledge has had unfair critisism i reckon, alot of people have been saying he doesnt do enough and flatters to deceive, but i think im right in saying this is his first start on the wing and boy did he look comfortable!!

Im so glad for him , it will give him confidence and maybe make scott sinclair up his game as well, Vorm still looks shaky with his clearence kicks but for such a young keeper he has shown he has all the ingredients to be top top notch!!

We need somebody to strike the ball from set pieces though! gower did well today but it is frustrating when you have a free kick on the edge of the area and it ends up in row z!!

We are looking in good shape so far, its a massive boost to the players egos that they can go to anfield and get a result , if they didnt beleive before today they sure do now!!

Have to say I wasn't convinced with what Routledge had done so far with his limited game time. BUT his performance today was excellent, he had one ball out on the line in the first half and managed to get between two defenders. Happy to be proved wrong, he just needs to be doing this week in week out. The team grew up today, they believed in themselves, and learned the lessons from past games. Happy days!!!

Routledge hasn't had unfair criticism at all because he's delivered very little for us before this match. That said, he was one of our best players today and this was his best performance in a Swans shirt. More of the same please!

Agree with the Suarez point - an absolute disgrace. Apparently he has this reputation but I can't say I noticed it before today. Wonderful player, stinking attitude.

I've not been keen on routledge so far, and that is warranted, he hasn't played fantastically whenever he has played so far this season. But he did have a good game today.
    Good job

It's obvious that Routledge out of position is poor, but in his given position on the wing, was a different player, I was well impressed with him today, as for Suarez, he's another player that should be put forward for the Olympic diving team, what a disgrace!..............

Yes i did notice DPJ !! he who shall not be named indeed !! a great day and a wonderful performance from the boys, it will do their confidence/ego/arrogance the world of good. They now are Prem players and they showed it today.

still a long way to go though ,but the signs are very encouraging ;)

    Proud of the lads !!

What a pair of back slapping ****** you two are turning into. It's not banter to tell fans of an established Prem team that you think they're crap - particularly as they are above us in the League and will finish well above us too. That's not banter. It's just boorish.

We are the new kids on the block and a bit of humility increases other fans' perception of us. We've always had a good reputation on the boards when we were in the Championship because whilst we've always enjoyed some banter we've also shown respect too. That's what makes us different to the knobheads up the M4. Not a question of giving dishonest opinions - why would I do that? I genuinely thought we'd lose today whilst hoping we would win. Bit like most Swans fans I think you'll find!

Most of us have already made the point about Suarez, so there was no tip toeing from me. A shocking display from a top, top player and that's always disappointing to see. He seems to be getting a reputation.

    Oh grow up.

Note to DPJ: Don't get pissed down the Westbourne before posting daft comments.

Agree it was a terrific performance, young Joe was amongst it again, but our defending was brilliant, and Vorm, well say no more!.............

Our perspectives on this forum, are completely opposite, and you my friend are the one that needs to grow up! I notice you removed your foul mouth post, trouble with you has always been that you can give it out, but can't take it back, that has always been your problem, and if I don't want to kiss a few Scousers boots on here, then that's up to me, just live with it, and stop kicking off with your childish proprieties on here!................ <ok>

Dragon, I think Aussie has a point actually, some of your comments smack of over-arrogance and didn't come across well. Perhaps you should consider toning it down a bit as Liverpool fans have been very impressed with our performance today. Don't spoil it.

Nobody was "boot licking" Phil. Some of us quite like the fact that we're playing big teams with lots of history, and want to engage in civil banter where we'll have fun and maybe learn something about the other team and it's fans. I hate the idea that now there's a load of scousers wandering around saying "we played Swansea yesterday, their fans online were a bunch of twats", which, sadly, could well be the case. Like democracy in general, people only ever remember the vociferous minority.
