With a better striker you'd have won that game comfortably. A shame for you DJ Campbell didn't start.

Agree totally, given how many new players were in, looked like they'd been playing together for ages. Lifted Adel and Ali's play as well, the future's bright, goals will come

Faurlin, SWP, Young and Derry were superb. Taarabt showed glimpses as well. Gutted we dropped points, but very optimistic now.

Exactly, well unimpressed with Bothroyd tonight.

Don't agree re Bothroyd he was a great presence and a small margin was bagging four first half goals
If the first had gone in he could have had the match ball
He held it up well we look with him I like him now faith we owe him that much

Bloody hell North, give the lad a chance. I thought he did well. On another night he bags a brace.

For the first half in particular, that was the first time I seen us play that well since our old Prem days in the mid-nineties. We've had some great service from players in the intervening 15 years but lets be honest, the standard was bloody desperate. Its great to watch a real QPR side again.

He is strong, wins quite alot in the air, movement fair, distribution reasonable, link up not bad, finishing from 3 yards,Ageymang like so far.He needs to score one quickly to get his confidence up,he is looking a bit like Danny Graham at this moment in time.

Just got in. I agree Northolt... we would have won that if Cambell had been in instead of Bothroyd...he looks a bit clumsy..
    Great game though...
    We've got our Rangers back...

Best performance i've seen from Rangers since the early 90's . Thought all the new players were excellent ,stunning cross from Traore reminded me of Bardsley (oh to have Les on the end of it !) . What was even more impressive than the new players was the performances of Derry and Faurlin who i thought were both better than Barton on the night . Also i thought Taraabt was magnificent and on that form we'll struggle to hold on to him . Only downside was finishing of Bothroyd although his general play was ok , Campbell probably would have taken one of them . Cant see Bothroyd being the prolific goalscorer we need .

We wouldn't of posed as much of a threat in their half with campbell, he's not a target man.
Bothroyd won every header and held the ball up well.

Agree with all of that, the one touch football was superb especially first half. Thought Bothroyd held the ball very well for the formation. With the new players I couldn't pick out who was who a lot of the time to be honest, Jb and swp excepted, but was a real pleasure to watch.

    I don't know about better.

That game surpassed my dreams in terms of a performance.

I agree with the proud bit.

Maybe 'Results' added to the end of your post rrrrrs.

SWP was different class today. Who needs Routledge, aye? Traore looked class, Barton and Adel were tireless, Derry and Faulin were great, Luke Young looked good. All round, a massively encouraging performance IMO.

Got up at 5am in AUS, strong performance and as has been said can only get better.

Bothroyd held the ball up well and gave us a pivotal point of attack (much better than Dave)

Can't wait to watch us against WW

The performance was superb, the result disappointing. Guess what, we have several Prem standard players at last. I was disappointed that NW did not give DJ a longer run. It was encouraging that Bootsy consistently got into good positions. The goals will come for him. He has only average pace though, when compared to DJ. IMO, there are plenty of goals in that midfield as well.

Bright game I think all did well, Jay held the ball up well and generally played well but Strikers need to put the ball in the back of the net when they get the chance, I thought NW should have brought him on earlier. So great interchanges in Mid field and back 4 looked solid, I especially liked the fact you could see them talking to each other a lot more than usual, Joey especially, helped here.

Great start to the new look team though we can't afford to allow many games with that sort of dominance slip us by. At the end of the day Points make safety not style of play.
