Massive increase in season ticket prices!
No funds being invested in team!
Best player for sale to the highest bidder!
No funds even if our best player is sold!

How much more can we take before we get together, stop talking on forums and get to the ground and protest.

I was asking this boards Flav and Bern apologist 'Eamon Holmes' his opinion on a protest.
I gave my opinion on another thread, that I doubt they're planning coming back.
This is now asset stripping before they sell.

I agree that we could protest about hikes in prices. But can you really protest about lack of investment at this stage. A ball has not been kicked in anger and we are protesting ?

I think that you have a right to protest if nothing happens and we are struggling to gain any points.

What good would a protest do anyway , do you really think the current board will go , 'oh the fans aren't happy , we'd better spend some money'. Its not going to happen.

Do i think we need new players, yes i do.

Do i think we will go down if we don't recruit anymore players, probably.

Can i tell someone who saved our club from administration how to spend their money, no i can't.

Fed up with all the negative posts and personally am looking forward to a season in the prem.

Suspect you are right about the asset stripping, Northolt.

Agree we are not at the protest stage yet, Rangerw9, but we are bloody close to it. If the team gets heavily defeated in the first few matches, then LR will be a place of real unrest...

I really wish I was and I don't like posting negative, but see how happy the boss is in the vid on the Taarabt thread, he knows he's being sent into fight lions with toothpicks.

James - they already have the season ticket holders cash..unless they start asing for a refund.

What could really work as in protests are the live games on TV.....as they could bring in coverage worldwide of how much we think of the goons and their policies.

Yes we could protest after the window closes but that will be too late. Will a protest change their minds and spend propably not!

They are asking fans to dig deep in their pockets to support them in the premiership, but are they doing the same?

If they came out and said the price increase was to improve stadium or move, thats why no money is being invested on new players that would be understable. They are not.

I believe any person or group who has the privilage of owning a football club is only a short term custodian and should always act in the long term best interests of the club. Flavio and Bernie are clearly looking at their own short term gains by trying to strip the club bare and sell for as much as possible. Can you say the current owners are acting in the best interest of the club and fans?

Do you think Bernie and Flavio will even attend Loftus Road next year? Imagine the stick they'll get. That wont impress all their "boutique" friends when they get abuse hurled at them.

And I agree with Ellerslie, and Sam, it's a fair point about Goon attendance - but televised banners by fans telling the world what we think of them won't go down well in Monaco or whatever flesh pot they are hiding in...

Regarding the protest on the price hike - Didnt seem to stop the ST from selling out.
Just a shame they didnt invest that extra cash.

Sometimes being a QPR fan makes my blood boil!

Ellersie, thats why i said we can only really protest about the rate hikes. Unfortunately the only thing we could do is boycott games but this won't achieve much and could be our only chance to see our boys against the top teams .

I do feel your frustration mate but there is really nothing we can do. You can't force people to invest. Thats a fact of life wherever you go.

I'm with Ellers on this, and I don't really go with this self-defeating "what's the point in protesting" attitude.. The point of protesting is to stand up and be counted. It's uniting together and saying "this is wrong, this is our club that you are mistreating and we are angry about it"! If that results in changes at board level that's all to the good, but that's not the sole purpose of protesting. Even if nothing changes at board level, that doesn't render any protest as pointless. The point is to make our voice heard, not to simply apathetically role over mumble "well, there's nothing we can do about it". If that's the attitude we might as well all give up now and stop talking about QPR, because hey, there's nothing we can do about it anyway..

An explanation as to what they are doing with the additional revenue generated from being a premier league team
How they plan to live up to their boast of "challenging Milan" in 4 years
If our best player is to be sold why is the transfer fee generated not being invested back into the team

Really do you think they have to justify themselves. We are a club that loses money as we are a small club punching above our weight.

Do other clubs justify their spending or lack of ? We have a high expectation cos of the personal wealth of our owners.

This is all getting very zzzzzzzzz. Can't wait for the football to start and all this bollox to stop.
