No - not against our beloved Paul Lambert (perish the thought!) but Blackburn Rovers fans are planning a protest march ahead of the game against Norwich against the clubs owners Venky's and their manager Steve Kean. Having lost their last 5 league matches, the BRFC Action Group has said "This is no longer about losing matches, this is about the very fabric of Blackburn."

Not ideal preparation for Rovers visit of the canaries, perfect for us if they are not pulling in the same direction. Let's get behind the boys on saturday and cheer them on to a convincing win

Rather small holes, but they had to count them all...

Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall.

I'd be grateful if you skipped the next line as it will only start tongues wagging....

If we can get an early goal on Saturday against Blackburn can you imagine the response of their fans! I'd fancy us to go on and win once we get the crowd on their backs.

Nobody comes out of the Blackburn thing with much credit. From how they played against us at Carrow Road, they are definitely not one of the three worst teams in the Prem. Their players looked quite good, especially Hoilett. On the other hand, their owners seem rubbish, their manager doesn't seem very good, and their fans have seemed more interested in destroying Kean than supporting their club for more or less the entire season. I guess I can understand that, since I was living in Norwich, not Vietnam, at the time of Chase when we were a club tearing ourselves in two. If they lose to us, they're more or less gone, though.

Eeore. I guess you're having a pop at me again. You chose to do this in public, so I will reply in public.

I asked reasonably for a certain word tobe removed, and also to refrain from posting thins that I found distasteful. I did not go running to someone else, nor did I, as a mod, use my 'power' to delete any of the posts.
I do not expect people to always agree with my views, but I would expect them to respect them. In my eyes you, and Guru have decided to blatantly take the piss. If you've got a ****ing problem with me, pm me. Do not take the piss blatantly.

    I thank you!! <one very angry Maestro>

I'm lloking forward to this match. they'll have to go for it, and only 35 minute drive to match for me. Better than the the four hours back to Norwich and I hate the drive from workshop to kings lynn. Make it a dual carriage way all the way, I'd go on a protest for a new road.

Will be a hard game as always. Few injuries for Blackburn though. Hanley is out and both Hoilett and Yakubu came off injured in their last game so maybe doubtful. Would certainly fancy our chances if they don't play

Seems a really strange time to start a protest. If we roll them over on Saturday that is their goose pretty much cooked. You'd think it would make more sense to support their team in a winnable match against a team who have very little in comparison to play for. I am not suggesting for a minute that PL will let our boys perform at anything below 100% but human nature suggests that where you have two fairly evenly matched sides the team with the most to play for will generally come out on top. that said I reckon if we can withstand their early onslaught and nick a goal then the wheels could fall of for Blackburn pretty quickly.

Yes I think so too. Wolves, Blackburn and 1 from QPR, Bolton and Villa - Wigan I reckon are safe.
As I have said for soem time, Villa look very vulnerable and cannot buy a win at the moment.

It can't just be the Venky's thats the problem, a big part of it has to be the manager, as someone has already said on here when they came to Carrow Road they played well and should have won. With players like Yakubu, Hoillet (Samba) etc they should not be in the position they are. Now with players refusing to play then it has to be down to management, and Keane looks totally bemused most of the time.

Nope I made a teasing reply to the previous comment.

Clearly you are losing the plot.

eeore, surely you can see that, following Maestro's request, your "teasing reply" was inflamatory? Don't forget with text, you can't use intonation to suggest irony, it just sits there on the page!

Would an apology be too much to ask? Sometimes we (mods) have to work very hard for your benefit! We don't need any "friendly fire" as well!

    <cheers>
