Protesting works or doesn't, that's been covered. protest was great or it failed, that's been covered. boycott would work or wouldn't, covered. pitch invasion, I'm too old and have responsabilities. covered. So what genuine ideas do you have that the full crowd could be involved in. Here is mine and it's intension is to remove the argument that it's the minority of fans that want them to go. All of the supporters group publicise that they have two print out's, on A4 (maybe get HDM involved so every fan has access) that each supporter can print out at home, one simply say's 'GO' in bold and the other says 'Please Stay' one printed in portrait and the other landscape so it's easily distinguished in photo's. I know it's lame but it doesn't take any bottle to hold up paper or smuggle paper in and will send a message one way or the other.
We've been there. Got about as much coverage as a dulux tester pot. It needs to cause a commotion if it is to have any success.
Something that causes Sky and or the fa to lose money or be disrupted. I've no idea what of the top of my head but Im 99.9% sure it would be the best way to get us noticed
We should just go with the stress balls every time but try and smuggle a **** load in. Throw a load on and get the game stopped for a few mins. Wait another 10 mins and throw another wad on etc.
The cards got a lot of coverage, but I agree say it wouldn't be appropriate to do the same thing now.
As I said last week, getting someone in who knows how to use apostrophe’s would be a start. Allam’s out.
Now we are bickering over apostrophe's. Dont you see its the Allams intention's to set fan's against each other?
It doesnt need one smart arse. I was talking about there intention's not just the Allam's. Im sure you use apostrophe's differently when there been used to mention someones possession's.
Mobilise boycotters to turn up for one game only. The initial intention would be to have by far the largest gate of the season. Make a **** load of noise getting behind the team up to 19.04. Then everyone let's the allams know what they think of them before exiting the stadium. Good way of showing the damage they have done to the support. In reality it would be a struggle to get significant numbers to turn up.
If EVERYBODY stopped attending home games it WOULD get noticed, obviously it will never happen because there is either insufficient strength of feeling or misplaced loyalty. If the vermin are to be removed early it needs DRASTIC but legal action.
Controversial one this. How about supporting the shirt/team etc ? Then the chairman or spokesperson of these protest groups who are keen to get on the telly take a leaf out of the original Hull City Actions Groups book ? Seek out potential buyers and turn up on their doorsteps as Dave Dewberry did with Don Robinson. He and the Action Group also sourced local people with an interest in buying the club and received pledges of backing of which they then took back to the club's directors of the time and got the interested people around the same table. That's action. Throwing sponge balls and blowing plastic whistles isn't.
