The sun was shining down on Yorkshire today and this season. Barnsley, Huddersfield and Sheff Wed avoid the drop then Leeds send Hull up. Doncaster are up with Sheff Utd in the play offs. Rotherham are up too, Bradford in the play offs and York stayed up
FLS will be an absolute Classic tonight. Also looking forward to the Forest v Leicester game and Hudds v Barnsley.
This game was like a mini version of the season. We get one hand on the prize, then it's pulled back from us. And as we know now - in both cases - it finishes right.
Just to add to it as well, McCormack is a former transfer target of ours. When we were in the PL we tried to sign him from Cardiff but they rejected our £3M offer (summer 2009), then when we got relegated we were after him again but he chose to go to Leeds instead. I'm sure he said at the time he thought that gave him more chance of getting to the PL but I can't find the article, unsurprisingly Google is full of articles from this weekend mentioning McCormack, Hull, Leeds, and Premier League.
