The president has proposed getting a flag for the stand, and one poor man who disagreed with it was told "Is HP the place for you " ! What are your thoughts on a second gigantic flag !!!

Mr Prezzy can shove his flag as far up his rear end as he can manage and if he has difficulty I will most certainly help him. I may not be able to smoke in the stadium but I still have my lighter in my pocket. I await the Police's knock on my door for threatening arson now. I pay my money to go and watch my team play and how I support them is up to me considering I have paid my money for the right. I don't need some jumped up Union Official with an honourary title to tell me how I do it.

    There, is that clear enough.

I wouldn't join PASOTI if you paid me plymborn. If I wanted to join a Stalinist state I would move to North Korea. More important to me is who the F*** does Chris Webb and his henchmen think they are. They are beginning to sound like they and they alone run Home Park terraces Inc. or at least think they do. If they carry on with this imposition of things on people who don't want it then they might just be sitting in these areas on their own. Stick it up in the Grandstand who rarely shout anything or even make a noise. I sat up there once for a Cup match because my Mrs bought me a ticket for the wrong place. If you shout or make a noise at all then people look at you because you are strange. Wake them up and leave me alone.

Didn't that old series called.........The Prisoner...........on ITV many years ago..........come over as brainwashing..........wasn't he No7 ?............pasoti is into a bit of that.......they are so gushing to agree with the thought of the day that it is a bit creepy............Devonsurfer would really fit in, wouldn't he.............can't we get him to make a come back on pasoti.

Talk of organizing the flag troops with megaphones............might be best just to go to the away games in future.

On the P site they are talking about hanging the flags from flagpoles .... problem sorted Webb drapped in one flag at one end of the stadium and Newell with the new one drapped over him at the other <laugh>

After reading what you all were saying about Pasoti a little while ago, out of curiosity I had a look <yikes>

Its not a forum, its a regime, not a very pleasant one at that. On one particular thread the Newell character was literally telling people to abandon their alias username and change it to their actual name!! And like sheep 90% of them did, the 'rebels' were roundly abused and accused of not being 'real fans'!!

There is a pecking order, Webb then his hatchet man Newell (who according to his photo is about 60 years old, bald and a 20 stone bloater), there are about 12 creepy hangers on, then a whole bunch of people who revel in the name of 'the dogs of war', waiting to be unleashed by the Supreme Dear Leader (thanks for the N. Korea bit Sensible).

Also there is a 'I know more than you, insider culture' that filters down from the top.
    Unbelievable!!
BUT, as an outsider, its hilarious and if you need a good laugh - log on, -f you are a green, hmmmm.

Anyway, it reminds me of that Scorence film, with Newell as Bill the Butcher.

    Gangs of Mutley Plain

Have a good day - byeee

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with - ummmmm - reservations about Comrade Webb and the Politburo.

Wasting money on not just one but two stupid flags is beyond belief. Given the club is strapped for cash, there must be 1,000 ways the money could be better spent, maybe assisting the hard-pressed non-playing staff whose financial problems aren't likely to have disappeared overnight, maybe putting money into facilities for club youth players or maybe putting an Argyle sponsored stamp on local youth sides or even just tarting up a stadium which is pretty run down in places.

They say power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely - never mind N Korea, a better example is Ceausescu who built this for himself

    while Romania suffered.

    Ultras? Ultra Idiots.

Careful NDG, they know where you live.

How does 1984 go?, something like - 'the symbol of the future is a boot in the human face' or a gigantic flag with the president's face in the Lyndhurst.

    Sounds pretty valid to me.

It reminds me of something from the past............power in only a few hands can be dangerous...........and can sweep the masses along with it, I think it is worrying.

Watching Cardiff v C Palace...........really good singing from Cardiff before the match started.............I thought they're only singing this good because they've got a big flag.

But I must admit I couldn't see it............did I miss it...........was it the otherside and I haven't noticed it.............surely must be there somewhere.............don't they relize the value of a big flag.

I couldn't see any megaphones organizing the crowd either...........no flag equals no megaphones.

There is a similar thread about "The Flag" on ATD and I've just posted on it.

My proposal is that we have a big white flag. This is not to signify surrender. When I was a kid I used to go to Saturday morning pictures at the ABC for sixpence. Somewhere during the proceedings a bloke would come up out of the floor playing a huge organ. They had the big white screen where the words to songs would appear so all the kids could sing along. Now, this would encourage kids to join in and all the oldies who remember Saturday mornings from long ago. Result being loud noise to intimidate the away team and thus make Home Park the fortress it should be. The place to hang it would be over the away end and make it long enough to cover their view and snuff out any noise from that end. Simples.

if any of you have twitter, try to speak to Webb or Newell on there. very approachable. don't shoot me down for suggesting...I don't know anyone on here personally so wouldn't know your stances on such communicative tools.
