Honestly, I reckon the decision was influenced by the fact that the first picture the SFA received of this banner was a doctored one.

The verdict was not about the banner, but about what celtic did to prevent such a banner being displayed. As to the banner itself, it seemed harmless to me and required a very great stretch of the imagination to associate the contents of the banner with paramilitarism.
