Good day to all, Been a solid saints fan for years however the coverage in NZ isn't too flash, have subscribed to saints player which is good but wanted to hear from people who have had the chance to see a few games what they thought of our promotion push. In my opinion. A) Signing players like Forte and N'guessn - shows little intent. B) Dropping key points at Hartlepool, peterborough etc C) Keeping Lallana and AOC is gold and hopefully the key to promotion I guess its a bit on the fence, heart says yes we will do it head unfortunatly is panicing on slipping up I can see b'mouth slipping away and peterborough in my view conceed a lot so may be hard pushed, however huddersfield are pushing strong. Thoughts
Welcome NZSaint.......Look forward to your contribution.........I am also worried for a couple of other Saints supporters down in Christchurch. Although it may well be that they have their hands full. They do not normally come on any of the forums only on face-book. What with what you lot have faced in South Island and what my Brothers and sisters faced just north of Brisbane. It is a bit of a disaster Area South East and east of Aussie at the moment. Getting back to the post yes it is a bit of up and down at the moment. NA's points average since really taking charge is around 2 points per game (leaving out his first game against MK dons) Which should mean around 84 points + for the season. So it is close to the wire (Average auto Promotion 84.5 points) It is of course in Saints own hand as they have both Brighton and Bournemouth yet to play away. (I forecast 2 draws there) So it is close and we know what you mean about your head and your heart
I think promotion is really close and like you said Beddytare it is totally in our own hands. With Lallana now fit & Morgan on the mend, the squad is looking more settled. We just need to put a couple of results together & I'm sure we will go on a run. We missed Lallana & it was good to see him back on Tuesday.
