As brian clough would say, you've won the championship, but not fairly. You cheat and have and awful disciplinary record! Come back when you win the league fairly! See you back where you belong in two years! In fact we'll be in the premier league and you'll be in the championship! AHAHAHAHAHA!
A Leeds fan moaning about another team winning the league unfairly, that's it! Hurrah!! I've ticked off the lot, now to send my book off to Chief Big Eye-Spy. I never, ever in my wildest dreams, thought that I'd fill up the Big Eye-Spy book of outrageous irony.
I see Eye-Spy has been re-released 50 points for seeing Neil Warnock give the referee a hug after losing, or should that be 500?
Think of a number Odds, it would remain unclaimed forever. We had the car number plate one, when I was a boy. Never got close to finishing it. I remember seeing an old Morris Minor down the Witterings road, on the school bus home once. Father had seen it too, as he was just as excited as me, when I got in not long after him, because we'd both seen it's plate, which was PO 1. The oldest number plate in all of West Sussex.
Was that the one where you had to look at all the number plates for the first two letters which categorised the city of it's origin and therefore was almost impossible? I had Eye-Spy garden birds too but never saw a red kite or a puffin in my garden...
Err, are you SURE you are writing on the correct team board here??? Haven't got last few days through yet, but on 4th April 2012 this was the Discipline table for the Championship: Key to reading table - Yellow (1 pt) / Red (2 pts) / Total points 1 Cardiff City 46 0 46 2 Blackpool 48 1 50 3 Reading 51 0 51 4 Crystal Palace 47 2 51 5 Southampton 44 4 52 6 Peterborough United 49 2 53 7 Derby County 53 1 55 8 Coventry City 53 2 57 9 Watford 53 2 57 10 Barnsley 53 2 57 11 Birmingham 53 3 59 12 Burnley 56 2 60 13 Ipswich Town 53 5 63 14 Nottingham Forest 55 4 63 15 Hull City 61 1 63 16 West Ham United 59 6 71 17 Doncaster Rovers 66 3 72 18 Millwall 69 2 73 19 Portsmouth 67 4 75 20 Leeds United 64 6 76 21 Leicester City 60 9 78 22 Bristol City 71 5 81 23 Middlesbrough 70 7 84 24 Brighton 81 8 97 Says all you need to know about the Royals. Tonight, by the way, Reading committed 4 fouls - that's an average of one every 22 mins 30 secs. So maybe you're a WUM? So why don't you get reading the LUFC Talk forum to find fantastic genuine supporters of your team - sounds like you can learn a lot from from colleagues on there. Tell them that I sent you, to get good advice ...
That's the one Odds, we also had the Butterfly issue and some others which I can't recall at the moment.
3 division 1 trophies for Leeds. None for Reading. FA cup wins, 1 for Leeds, none for Reading. We've been in the champions league. Reading have not. ENOUGH SAID. Leeds are a bigger team and more historic and always will be.
I know too well - have seen Leeds live on occasions since the great Revie side of early 70s. Agreed with everything you write but last 3 words - the future is the future
The guy who started this thread is a WUM. Because of Reading's orgainsation and mobility they do not need to resort to reckless challenges in the opponents half or last ditch tackles when a team attacks. Their defence is rarely exposed. By comparison our defence can be caught out hence the bookings!
LATEST FAIR PLAY TABLE April 15, 2012 Rank Team Yellow (1 pt) / Red (2 pts) / Total Points 1 Blackpool 49 2 53 2 Reading 54 0 54 Cardiff City 54 0 54 4 Southampton 48 4 56 Peterborough United 52 2 56 Crystal Palace 52 2 56 7 Derby County 56 1 58 8 Coventry City 57 2 61 Barnsley 57 2 61 10 Birmingham 59 3 65 11 Ipswich Town 56 5 66 12 Nottingham Forest 57 5 67 Watford 61 3 67 14 Burnley 64 2 68 15 Hull City 67 1 69 16 West Ham United 63 6 75 17 Doncaster Rovers 68 4 76 Millwall 72 2 76 19 Leicester City 63 9 81 Portsmouth 73 4 81 21 Leeds United 70 8 86 Middlesbrough 72 7 86 Bristol City 74 6 86 24 Brighton 86 8 102
